K2 is scientifically proven to transport away Calcium from Arteries by activating Matrix GLA Protein
From my research;K2 complexes (K4-10) are produced by the bacteria in your gut, and are also contained in the right typesof mainly fermented fatty dairy (as its a fat soluble vitamin) like cheese, whole yogurt, fermented vegetables, such as sauerkraut, and beans. Its fermented beans that produce the most K2-MK7. But the human form we, and all animals produce is K2-MK4. MK4 is utilized instantly and probably activates more functions than MK7 (which has a long half life). Nevertheless MK7 is proven to have biological effect. Its estimated you need about 50-100μg of K2 per day.Antibiotics can wipe gut production of K2 out as it wipes out your gut bacteria. The major source of K2 intake is estimated to be from fermented foods.Typically something like harder Edam cheese contains upto 10μg/100g of K2mk7. But softer semi crumbly cheeses like Cheshire tend to be higher (upto 29.1 μg/100 g). There are a range of K2 subtypes (MK4-10). MK4 is what is produced by all animals, other types by bacteria. Fermented Dairy is higher in MK8-10 rather than MK4-7. MK10 is higher in very hard cheese. Because of the various fermentation methods there is a spectrum of K2 types in cheeses. For example Jarlsberg has 62 μg/100g of K2-MK9. Non fermented dairy foods (eg; Eggs, Milk) contain - eg; Eggs vary and contain about 7-20μg/100g. Milk has 2μg/100g. Kefir/Yogurt, seem to be about 10μg/100 g.But it's fermented Beans, contains the most astonishing amounts of K2 - upto 1000 μg/100 g - in natto. About 5μg/100g in sauerkraut. Both of type K2-MK7.But whats the big deal? Cardiovascular disease (calcified arterial plaque) is the main cause of death. K2 prevents the the calcification of arteries by activating proteins in the bloodstream, which then collect calcium. These are called Matrix GLA proteins.=======================There is scientific evidence from rat studies (the rat warfarin K2-mk7 study) that it can reverse calcification of arteries. The study of this vitamin is very recent and is just starting, so the scientific studies are sparce, but there is overwhelming evidence that it prevents calcification of arteries in patients with chronic kidney disease, which is a major problem for them, or patients on warfarin (a drug which destroys K2 and thus calcification of arteries is common). But the effect of K2 is limited by how much matrix protein and other calcium (Ca+) loving proteins there are available to be activated by K2 in your blood. So taking 600μg of K2-MK7 when your body only has a pool of proteins for 100μg is not going to give you 6 times the effect. The pool of these proteins available to be activated is increased by taking vitamin D3 - and also by exercise. However, with heart disease and atherosclerosis, it is not calcification which kills, it is the sudden blood clots which kill - blood coming into contact with EXPOSED soft plaque. NOT the calcification itself, which is a repeated healing 'scar tissue' process which forms a hard plaque cap over dangerous soft plaques (although it also narrows and stiffens the artery).Based on the above I would NOT do mega doses of both D3 (which ramps up the amount of Ca+ loving proteins for K2 to activate) and K2 to decalcify arteries, but would instead keep it in the normal range of 100-200μg Vitamin K2 and 1000-2000IU Vitamin D (25-50μg) daily. The D3->increased Ca+ collecting Proteins + K2 activation will be within normal limits, a process which should normally go on within a healthy body with the right amount of sunlight and diet so there should be no adverse effects of arterial decalcification exposing soft plaque staying in these limits. The Rotterdam K2 study (about 4800 people, age over 55 - based on self reported diet-sheets, medical followups) , seemed to show a substantial drop in heart disease event risk, in those with higher K2(MK4,8,9 from eggs and cheese) intake. The population subset that had over 40μg of K2 daily had about half the heart attacks. Further, aortic calcification (from chest xrays at 2 angles) were logged and the over 33μg K2 intake group again had half the rate of severe aortic calcification. (no effect on moderate aortic calcification).*** UPDATE: I now have bought an electric pressure cooker to make actual natto (an instantpot, but many others will do as long as they have a yogurt setting), and bought bags of 'natto starter' (you can get this easily and very cheaply online).I now make large batches of natto with beans (any tinned drained beans, even chickpeas will do fine) it takes only a few minutes to setup and its ready the next day, lasts a week in the fridge and costs next to nothing. A single tablespoon of natto beans will give 300μg of K2-MK7 - easier than taking a tablet!I like the 'coffee' taste of the natto beans, but you are best using seasoning like soy or mustard etc... to add more complexity to the flavor when enjoying a proper bowl.

Good quality
We have to rely on the claims of the maker, but this seems to be genuine in quality and although slightly more expensive than another Amazon retailer which also claims a slightly higher strength, the other doesn’t make clear the fermented Natto source claims this one does. And that is important!I would like to see an Independent lab test report on the stated quality of this one, just to confirm it’s claimed strength and quality. Would also also like a higher strength option from this maker!

Healed My Neuropathy ( nerve damage)
I took calcium pills for 5 days (to get rid of leg cramps). My small finger on my left arm bcame a bit numb one morning. It kept like this for 2 months. I had control on it but i felt its not having the nerve ok, when i hold my finger it felt strange, like semi paralyzed. Possibly the capillary that feeds blood with nutrients and oxygen to it was blocked by the calcium. Then i remember that calcium needs vit K2 Mk7 to transport the calcium into bones, you should never take calcium by itself. Never calcium carbonate- i took lactate. Anyway. In 2 days, my finger was better. It happened 2 days ago. I took 2 a day. I still feel a little bit, bery little of that sensation, like the finger is swollen but 20 % of how bad it was. I have to check my finger to notice anything wrong now, before it was obvious wothout touching it. Lately people cleaned their circulatory system with this. I am grateful and that's why i am writing this. I know it will help you too. Edit: after other 2 days. All symptoms on my finger are gone. These pills are 100% genuine. Will only buy from this company.

Has the tablet size changed?? Now (~65% bigger). Why?
Tablets have changed. Batch T-01 (BBE 04/2025) tablets are ~17mm x 5mm, whereas batch 0423875 (BBE 05/2025) are ~20mm x 7mm (i.e. ~65% bigger). Why? The ingredients appear the same on the label, but the capual sizes are clearly different between these two batches. That's a red flag to me. I may send these two tablets for analysis to see the contents. Hopefully the seller can clarify.
