Haven't actually had to use it on someone, but test fired it from approx. 10-15 ft. into a cardboard box and both prongs pierced right through.

Definitely a neat toy but not effective. I do security and bought this as a tool for work. I can tell you from experience this is not an effective tool. It is very low voltage. It won’t even come close to stopping a grown man. I can literally hold this to my chest it’s barley uncomfortable. The charge shoots well, the prongs are very short definitely not going through an inch of clothes. Like I said neat toy but do not rely on it for your safety. I will be sending it back.

Works well but not complete. First the cord wouldn’t fit the end. Was sent another one and the siren didn’t work on either one.

It hurt but did not stay buried in the skin. The prongs barely penetrated. Therefore, the full effect of seizing up did not happen. Will be returning.

So I work security and figured it would be a good thing to have in the just in case or what if moments. I put this this on my vest because it feels to fragile to keep on my hip. The day I got it I set off the first cartridge to see how it works and it's effectiveness. It sounds like a 22 when it goes off and it smokes a little bit the prongs do come out and the Lazer will put it as close as possible. Sadly there is no safety and I found that out when I went to take it off my vest as it deployed still in my vest pouch. And while it comes with a holster I can only imagine if your not careful enough It would do the same in its holster because again there's no safety. Also unlike most tasers the big yellow plastic on the cartridge doesn't break in two so the whole way through it's pushing that yellow piece helping it lose accuracy

Makes a scary noise but not powerful enough to paralyze an adult man's limb let alone whole body

I bought like 4 of these models and they dont last the prongs never connect togather only one hits the target the light always starts flickering and over time it eventually just stops working period and one of them starting smoking when i try to charge it which is a major fire hazard it you want a good quality taser i would recommend the taser pulse from taser.com those are built to last then these cheap Chinese useless crap.

The holster Velcro is cheap and the siren doesn’t work
