I’ve been researching for a nice grill for our new backyard patio for a long time, and finally settled on the one. My family loves to eat barbecued stuff, especially barbecue meat, so I decided to invest in an outdoor grill. After reading the reviews online, I decided on this Captiva Designs grill!The grill came very nicely packaged, and even though the instructions said it will take about 2 hours to put together, my husband said it was very easy to assemble and only took a little over an hour. He said to look at the booklet pictures and instruction for help, and there is also a QR code to scan for video instructions. I love how convenient this is! I would definitely make sure to follow the instructions, as at the end you need to burn off the manufacturing oil and prep the grill by turning on the grill on MAX for ten minutes until it stops smoking. You don’t want those stuff in your food, trust me!Onto the grill stuff — we fired up some marinated meats (chicken, pork, steak) to see how well the grill works. The heat was evenly spread, and we got a smooth flame across the entire grill. It didn’t take too long for the grill to be REALLY hot, as the double layered lid made sure the grill got hot and stayed hot. There’s also a built in temperature gauge right on top of the lid, so you don’t even need to open the grill to check the temperature!Moreover, the porcelain enameled coating for the cast iron gate didn’t scratch at all and was very easy to clean after the meal. I feel like this one would last a very long time because of the material. Also, at the end of the meal, when we were cleaning up it was very easy to clean the grease, as there was a tray we could just pull out.I love how there are also very convenient wheels on the bottom of the grill, so that we could move the grill to the desired spot in the backyard without lifting it. There was also a large storage space underneath the grill, which we stored our utensils and other stuff there. Overall, it was the perfect size for a family barbecue, and not too big or too small! For less than four hundred dollars, this grill works very well. My family is very pleased with this grill.

I’m very happy with this 4-burner propane grill! It heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly, making it perfect for grilling everything from steaks to vegetables. This is a very nice grill. However, the instructions said approximately 2 hours to assemble. It took us 3 and 1/2. You will also need 2 people to assemble this grill. Follow the instructions. All of the parts are numbered to avoid confusion. We needed a Phillips screwdriver and a needle nose pliers. A magnetic Phillips screwdriver would be helpful if you have one. Other than those tools, be methodical. It pays to take your time, and build this grill properly. The top and burners are pre-assembled, which is great. The finish of this grill is very nice, stainless steel and matte black. Separately, I also ordered a cover from Amazon. The side burner will also be handy, which gives you a total of 7 burners. Should work well when we are hosting a large group.
