This is an excellent alternative to a main powered alarm clock. I wanted a battery powered alarm clock as a way to save money on my electric bills and this has been a great little change. I was worried that if it wasn't electric I wouldn't be able to read the time in low light/darkness, but fear not the back-light is perhaps a little too good. All the information you need is on the display. The numbers are quite big so you'll have no problem reading them from a distance. It's super easy to set up and change time/date/set alarm etc. And the alarm sound is a constant beeping that can get faster the longer you leave it, but it's loud enough to wake you up!A really great money saving device I'm glad I got. Even got a 2nd one for another memebr of the family, its that good.

It's a great clock, ordered 2 one for bedroom and one for ir living room, so I could see the time from across the room, the numbers are big enough to see, easily set, the only downside is that they are so bright at night, I like my bedroom dark, this clock is bright, it has a button on the top that you press for a back light, so I'm not so sure why they needed to make the white face glow in the dark. I wanted an alarm clock that was easy to use and that wouldn’t be too bright at nigh-time . This one fits the bill, the clock gives off a soft light if you hover your hand above it. If a bit more light is required, a large button is on the top of the clock which also doubles up as a snooze button. You can not only see the time, but also the set alarm, date and the temperature. The alarm sound starts of low and quiet and gets louder so the person does not sleep through it.You will find all the buttons on the back allowing you set the time, date and year the setup very simple and quick. It does not come with batteries(3 x AAA). The fact that it is battery operated is even better as I can now take it with me on my travels if I work away from home.

I ordered this Morning Kitchen Alarm Clock Large LED Display Digital Alarm Clock Snooze Activated Night Light Features(White) as have a similar one In my Bedroom which I'm very happy with so wanted one for the Hall so we always know what the time is.It arrived in its own box which made it clear what was inside.An instruction sheet was included but its so simple to use anyway that I did not need to refer to these.It has clear text on the back to show what buttons are for.It takes x3 AAA batteries (not included) which fit in easily.The digital display is large and clear and can easily be seen from a distance so ideal for anyone with sight issues.It has an alarm built in as well as a snooze button on the top, and you can set the date and it displays temperature so a it does a lot.Overall it is good quality clock which I'm very pleased with and we have not been late leaving the house since.I enjoy leaving reviews to help others in their purchasing decisions and hope my review has helped today, and if it has please click the "Yes" button below my review. Now firstly, I have bought four of these over the years. Why? It's complicated. We'll do the Bad first. They gain time. Slowly, but you do notice after a couple of months that the clock is now a couple of minutes ahead. This has happened on all of them. They also don't last more than about 3 years, and then things start going wrong - display blinks out, random resets, or simply goes dead. Also, depending on how much you use the alarm function, the alarm/off switch isn't very robust. It's probably another of the "breaks after 3 years" Cons.So why do I keep buying them? For starters, when they're working they're an excellent alarm clock. The alarm is just the right frequency and volume for an oldie like me to hear, and is easy to set and switch off. Plus it's only £10. Although I would much prefer paying more for something that would last a lot longer, I've not been able to find a clock that fits the bill, and a tenner every 3-4 years isn't so bad.So that's it. A no frills disposable alarm clock every 3 years. Like I said, it's complicated.

I've been using this clock for nearly a year now. The night brightness mode is a little too bright for me so I point it away a bit but it is easy to read. The alarm sound is fine, it gets loud enough. The basic buttons are easy to use but very clunky and therefore loud to use. Probably not best to change the time on the clock if someone in the room is sleeping. Original batteries still working and it's good value for money and sturdy. My toddler has thrown it on the floor several times.

Overall a good purchase. Large screen, lots of features - date, alarm, even temperature - but there are a few minor issues.1. The backlight is very strong, so even with its light turned off, it can be irritating as a nightstand item next to the bed.2. The temperature doesn’t seem to be correct and isn’t easily regulated3. When changing any of the settings, if one goes a digit too far, you have to keep pressing until it hits its maximum and carry back over until your intended number.4. The batteries, AAA, fit only by a hairsbreadth and are stacked so tightly on top of each other, that the one at the bottom is stuck there.But once those little qualms are resolved, it does its job and is a pretty good alarm

I bought this clock to replace an old mechanical clock which has started keeping me awake during the night with its loud ticking.The instructions are easy to follow and it was all set up in a few moments. I had no problems inserting the battery.I like the fact that on the right hand side of the clock it displays the time the alarm is set for, as well as the date and the room temperature.The light from the display can be a little bright when you first go to bed, but my wife and I quickly got used to it.Overall, very happy with my purchase from this trader.
