I bought this after having a wisdom tooth removed and wanted something to help heal the extraction site. This stuff is really potent. I've used oregano oil before but this really helped with the healing and while the taste is a bit yuk, my mouth has never felt so clean after using it. It also helped with the pain relief. Would definitely recommend. My only negative, and it's a small one, is extracting the liquid, the instructions say to disperse up to 15 drops into the cup provided but to do this you have to shake it out which at first I ended up shaking it out everywhere other than the cup. I don't know if this is what you should do, but I started shaking the bottle upside down with the cap on and then pouring whatever was left in the top out into the cup which caused less mess. A dropper system would be much better.UPDATE: I've now been using Oregawash for some time now and wanted to update my earlier review to reiterate what a great product this is. I am truly converted to using it instead of other mouthwashes simply because it really does work. Plus the company are brilliant - my last delivery was a little late and had been delivered with underpaid postage. I emailed ZaneHellas late afternoon to ask them to review their postage costs and on the same day received a reply to confirm that a refund had been credited to my account without quibble! Great service, can't recommend them enough. Oh one final comment, the bottles now come with a dipper which makes dispensing the liquid soooo much easier so thank you!

This stuff makes your mouth tingle and burn and eyes water, making you think its doing something, but in all truth I got this for oral thrush and after the full bottle im still suffering with oral thrush so not effective on me anyway, but I guess everyone is different, I've taken the capsules also and got zero benefit from those either, cannot help feeling a little suspect on the claims made regarding the health benefits of this oil.

The best thing about this item is the strength it has in eliminating, what I can only assume is bacteria in my mouth because after brushing my teeth and flossing I used to have, after about an hour, a weird taste in my mouth like my mouth wasn't throughly clean no matter how much I brushed or even double brushed. This mouth wash kept my mouth fresh and clean ALL day, even after eating. It's the most fresh it's felt in ages, I use it in a water flosser diluted with 200mls of water as this seems to get the best results and saves using floss string which would irritate my gums. So massive difference and highly recommend. The taste is strong and not great, but is overridden for the freshness of breathe and mouth afterwards for the whole day!

A recent bad experience with a mouthwash heavily laced with artificial sweeteners (which I am quite sensitive to) has left me finding even quite low levels of artificial sweetener (sorbitol) in most commercial toothpaste leaves me on the edge of gaggingWhich is yet another reason to be very happy with this strong tasting mouthwash without anything other than essential oils of oregano(Oreganum heracleoticum) and mastic (Pistacia lentiscus) and water. There is nothing sugary in this. It is fiercely medicinal.The fierceness, caused by the fact that oregano is very high indeed in a phenolic (very strongly antimicrobial) compound, carvacrol. Which is a skin irritant. So - one needs be cautious here. I was remarkably surprised that suggested dosage is, to my mind, VERY high - 12 drops in 20 ml of water.That would absolutely blow my mouth and tongue sky high. The comfortable heat sensation for me is to stay with 4 drops, swishing for 30 seconds before spitting outI would suggest that a user starts with a couple of drops to see what is tolerable for them and move up to the level where comfort and effectiveness are in balanceFor me, 4 drops kept my mouth feeling fresh for several hours and did not induce discomfortAn added advantage, compared to normal mouthwashes, is, because of oregano's extreme bug busting actions, this would be a good one to reach for with any kind of sense of sore throat/infection.I am even wondering (with care) about using this for a fungal nail bed infection - oregano is an amazing medicinal herb, as an essential oil. But i would still dilute it, rather than apply neat, carvacrol is a high skin irritant

Love this seller,use the capsules and have used the liquid,now yet another brilliant product.Purchased as daily mouthwash as have a dry mouth problem and have also had a few dental issues, since using my mouth has never felt so clean and fresh.After having an intensive scale and polish (2 sessions!!) at my dentist, I developed a rather painful abcess and of course,it decided to emerge on a Friday night.Used this product thinking that Monday morning would mean an emergency trip to said dentist,followed by the obligatory antibiotics as I have suffered a number of abcess problems in the past.To my total surprise,by using this in a slightly stronger ratio every 2 hours, the abcess all but vanished.Called in dentist on the Monday and he could see some redness but was surprised there was no sign of infection.I cant say this willl be the case for everyone,but would not be without this in my bathroom cabinet...both as a daily rinse and in an aforementioned emergency.I hasten to add I haven't had an abcess since ,so due to my own experience would highly recommend to any fellow sufferers with dental issues.Thankyou once again Zane Hellas 😊👍
