LectroFan allowed me to have a full nights rest!
I bought the LectroFan out of desperation after having dealt with very noisy neighbors for a few months. Long story short, they would go to bed very late and wake up early and my partner and I could just hear EVERYTHING going on in their apartment which would wake us up. I tried using earplugs and talking to them but nothing worked...so buying the LectroFan was sort of a last resort before reporting my neighbors to the landlord.It took maybe a night to get used to sleeping with the LectroFan on but after the first couple of nights, I was so grateful for it! It gives you a wide range of different types of fan sounds that you can choose from. As many have commented, the device provides constant noise without an obvious looping that a recording might have.PROS:-Easy to use.-Compact and would be easy to travel with (if needed).-Has a variety of sounds so you can choose which one you like the most.-Loud volume.-EFFECTIVE! Can't hear my neighbors or street noise anymore :)CONS:-It was on the expensive side but I honestly don't regret paying the amount I did. It was well worth the amount!OVERALL:I honestly don't know why I went so long without considering this to be an option. I sleep well and don't hear my neighbors anymore. I use this to sleep during the day and am not disturbed. It's so effective that if I go to bed before my partner, it just cancels out the loud noises from him playing video games.I would definitely recommend this to anyone with similar issues!! :)

Portable, works well. Easy to operate
Currently saving me from an extremely noisy neighbor. Considered moving before I bought it. It is powerful and saving the day allowing me to buy some time. High volume can hurt your eardrum so be careful. I will definitely recommend. You can adjust volume to what works for you and you can move it around to any location in your accommodation

Such a relief from 24 hour noise from neighbour!
I use this Lectrofan in combination with 2 Roffies and one Senelux (seems identical to the Roffies) to try and drown out the noise from my horrid neighbour who plays noise 24 hours a day - even when he's not in. This lets me sleep - and I put the 2 Roffies etc onto rain sounds, the combination gently outdoes most (but not all) of what he puts out if you have your head on the pillow. Wonderful machines!Update Oct 2022 - since we have started to have sneaky power cuts in the middle of the night, the Roffies (and one Senelux) don't come back on when power is restored - but this DOES!! The first time we had a power cut in the night my neighbour's noise machine didn't come back on, and I had the best night of sleep in two years (since he's been doing this). The next few times he has found a way of making his noise machine turn back on after a power cut - so I get woken as one of these machines on its own is not enough to drown out his noise. Got to buy another one, sadly - they are expensive!This continues making whatever noise you've set it on when power is restored - vital for many sufferers from bad neighbours.

Absolute life saver
I have sensory issues and struggle a lot with even the slightest noises. Next door has just sold and I’m dreading getting new neighbours so I came across the idea of these fan machines. I did a bit of research and read a load of reviews and this seemed to be one of the more popular ones, albeit it expensive. I am so happy I bought it. It has literally changed my life! If cancelled out fireworks night, New Year’s Eve parties and my irritating neighbours playing loud music. The fan noises do not distract my concentration either which was another worry. Love it!!

A very handy little device, but could benefit from some smart features.
To put it plainly, this little device saved me from having to move house! Nearly two years ago I moved into my new home; a new home which unfortunately came with the night time 'hum'. For those of you who don't know what 'the hum' is, it is a low frequency rumbling sound which can travel right through a house or confined space. Statistically, only around 1 in 50 people are sensitive to it! My particular hum is caused by the local telecoms base station, about 300 metres away on the hill.I had six months of miserable, agonising sleepless nights, and with no escape from this noise, and no other method of sound muffling working, I made the heart-breaking choice to sell up and move on, much to the chargrin of myself and my partner. But salvation was only as far away as the press of a button!The Lectrofan didn't seem to work for me at first, but after a few weeks experimenting with settings and correct positioning of the device, I found just the right mode which both blocked the hum and allowed me to drift off to sleep. Only those who know what it's like to have a peaceful night after so many months of stress can really appreciate the blessed relief!Now, as a regular user of the device, I pretty much know it intimately. I gave four stars for the fact that it solved my problem like nothing else could . I would give five stars had there been a few simple features such as LED readouts for the modes (e.g. 1-10 white noise sounds, and 1-10 fan sounds) and readouts for the volume so it can be easily reset. Unfortunately the device has a tendency to default to a certain mode and volume when power is cut without switching it off, therefore using a timer plug is not easy. The device does have a handy hour on timer, but as I keep it under the bed, this is not easy to reach. A wireless version with a remote control would be brilliant!All in all, I consider this a brilliant purchase. Worth its weight in gold for any hum sufferer!
