IPOW WJ-098 Red Wine Beer Bottle Opener Wing Corkscrew

My old corkscrew broke and I really needed a replacement. Having read the reviews I decided to give this one a try. It feels nice and sturdy and de-corks wine bottles with ease. Does the job and I’m very pleased with my purchase.

The wing corkscrew this one replaced was much flimsier and finally broke amid cork removal. This item is much sturdier and works well both pulling corks and popping bottle caps. Good price too and prompt delivery.

great value corkscrew , does what it must do with no issues . has a bit of weight to it also , so it does not feel cheap . overall worth the money . plus a brucie bonus with the wine stopper , but who leaves half a bottle ? exactly, no one ! but its there if needs be . a thumbs up from me all in all .

Bought to replace a similar ( but very old ) corkscrew which broke whilst trying to uncork a particularly uncooperative cork in a red wine bottle. The new one did the job without turning a hair. We expect it to last for many years.

Bog standard but extremely effective corkscrew

Initially I was very pleased, as it seemed robust and did what a corkscrew/barkeeper's friend should do. Unfortunately, less than 7 months after purchase, it has broken. A previous corkscrew I had lasted years, so I am disappointed that this one, which has not had a great deal of use, is of poorer quality than I initially thought.

Good feel to this but bottle opening is a bit awkward hence 4*
