Very easy to use, flip the lid remove the individually wrapped paints, spray with water, wait and use, the colours are good, and look good when dry, they cover the page well, depending on the thickness of the pigment used, the case is sturdy and durable. Good for travel or home use.

A nice selection of intense pigments that support many tones of transparent colour simply by varying the amount of water used. The colours blend to almost infinite hues and even as a beginner they don't look muddy when mixed unless I am incredibly inept or actually choose to mix a deliberately muddy shade. This set includes a decent quality fine brush, well suited to detail and line work, and can be used wet on dry for pinpoint accuracy or wet on wet for dreamy blooms, delicate wahes and artistic effects. This is the first time i've played with watercolours since i was a child, and is so much more fun than I remembered. It is surprising that such tiny pans yield so much colour and cover so much 300gsm paper - whilst barely denting their content! This tiny pallette is the perfect size to put in a pocket and sketch in the field.

Summary: Good watercolour paints, especially for beginners but the colours advertised on Amazon are not what you will get. Do not get your heart set on certain colours. Make sure to check the colours you get so if you decide to add to your set you won't accidentally have duplicates. I want to add this is not an Amazon issue, this appears to be on Winsor & Newton website too. I've had this palette for a while now, I've finally got to using the colours and they're great. A wonderful selection of colours what will push you to be more colourful with your painting and not rely on blacks to darken the colours. I will add the colour palette I received is a little subdued and less vibrant than I'd have liked in an ideal world but it's a good start! I have since bought additional half pans to add to the collection. WN Cotman watercolours are excellent for beginners. I hadn't touched watercolours for about 13 years and got this small travel set to dip my toes into watercolour again. Lots of fun, compact little case with a tiny travel brush. These are half-pan watercolours so each colour is about 1.9x1.6x1.1 cm.

This is perfect for travelling. Lovely colours and great quality paint. Highly recommend.

Love this little set. Has all the basic colours to get started and keep going. Very compact to take on the go. Will be cheaper to buy another set than replace the pans individually. The W&N paints wet up well and have good consistent pigmentation. Haven’t worked out how to use the white though and would have preferred a Prussian blue or Permanent rose in its place. Lid a bit fiddly to clean so use a separate dish

Great set for on the go, the brush is one of the best I've come across. Colour range is perfect, well pleased with this I use if for my art class

Este set de acuarelas **Winsor & Newton Cotman (12 tubos de 8 ml)** me ha sorprendido gratamente. Los pigmentos son intensos y transparentes, perfectos para mezclas suaves y efectos vibrantes. A pesar de ser gama estudiantil, su desempeño está muy cerca del nivel profesional. Es muy fácil de usar y un poco rinde muchísimo, por lo que es ideal para practicar, aprender o trabajar en tus piezas artísticas con fiabilidad. Con una valoración promedio de 4,7/5 en más de 1.800 reseñas, me parece una opción fiable y asequible. Muy recomendable para artistas que buscan buena calidad sin complicarse.
