Yes I would say it's good for men but I would also say it's a very hard bristle brush. I have fine hair and I find it hurts my scalp.

I don’t remember if it came in box as it is too long ago, however my wife is still using it and is still very pleased.

Yeah, I got it for mine and it's worked a treat

is it made in the UK?

H & S are a British company so I would imagine that it would have been made here in the UK; If they don’t manufacture it here whoever makes them does a good job, either way it’s a good stiff bristled brush ideal for what I wanted. I hope this helps.
