Worked really well on 60th anniversary cake.Saw the reviews about being hard to get out of the pack, which is like a mould, but not a problem at all with a cocktail stick.I tested one out on the cake a week before the event to see if it went soggy, it did a little as it is a piece of jelly. So waited till last min to add the rest.

Really difficult to remove from the plastic sheet because they're all attached to each other. Damaged at least two working out how to remove them. Then they get finger prints on them when you're removing them, so were damaged until I worked out I needed to wear disposable gloves. When positioned on the cake they just look like little blobs of clear gel. No discernable form or shape. I threw the rest in the bin and bought some hard sugar gems instead.

Thought they were going to be solid, but were jelly like in texture.. once I watched a video on their use, I managed without any damage and had a lovely effect. Thank you.

They are a bit fiddly; had to use a cocktail stick.They also don't last hours and hours before turning into tiny pools of goo, but so pretty! Worth the faff.

Having used edible diamonds before i was expecting a hard, firm glass like product. Not sure if these had an air hole in the packaging or not (had 2 packs and both the same) but they were more like a slightly firm gel and extremeley hard to get out of the blister pack without handling (which dulled them). They didn't really have the desired effect of a diamond as they were too soft and dulled very quickly. Not really what I needed for my project. Shame.

I actually felt I needed to pop a review in for this item because after reading the reviews before purchase it nearly put me off.These are well packaged, look amazing in the pack!Many people seem to have had trouble getting them out of the mould, I used a paperclip...inserted into the middle and simply gently lifted them out - do it slowly and they come out great!Used as a little accent at the base of a diamond ribbon, these edible gems were the thing that people commented on most!All in all I would highly recommend - used individually they look awesome.

On the crowns on the cake I had to cover them up a lot and soon as you touch them with something they just turn yellow and loose their shine if you can find other diamonds please get them for your bake sorry but these just taste vile I couldn’t swallow them and ITS HORRIBLE TO GET THEM OUT THE PACKET! ONLY GET IF ABSOLUTELY AN EMERGENCY!
