In some ways, better than a book on cleaning and organizing
So, I've had these cards for a little over a month. The concept is simple. Each card has a task and you draw a new card each week (at least that's how it works in theory) and do that task. I'm on my 5th week of working on the task for week 2. To be fair, in my case, that task was huge. It was to gather up all of the paper in your house and go through it and purge all of the garbage, and to give everything you decide to keep a permanent home. In my case, I had a TON of papers. I literally threw out over 100 lbs of garbage paper I didn't need. What I was left with was 3 large bins of papers I chose to keep. I'm still working on going through those papers, setting up folders in my filing system, and finding homes for everything. I'm also working on digitizing all of the recipe cards and clippings I've accumulated over the years (which is taking some time).Where the cards are better than a book is that, while a book may provide you with more information and things to think about, the cards are all about taking action. I've read a number of books on cleaning and organizing, but few of them have really gotten me to really put the ideas into motion. With the cards, it's very simple: Draw a card; Do what's on the card.Since I'm only on the second card (and I'm not "cheating" by looking ahead), I can only assume that they're ordered in a way that makes sense. The first card was pretty easy to take care of. The second card has taken me more than a week (but I'm something of a hoarder when it comes to paper); BUT, just with what I've gotten done so far, it has made a noticeable difference in my house. I'm hoping to finish filing all of the papers this week so I can get on to the next task and looking forward to, over the course of the next year or so, getting everything in order. If I had to purchase this product again, I would. It would even make a decent gift for someone you know who is struggling with clutter and just needs a little nudge to get them going.

So simple and effective.
Love how simple this is. I'm donating 2-3 boxes every week or 2 and it's awesome. A place for everything and everything in it's place.

Great idea!
Nice deck of organization cards. I like the size of the deck and the usefulness of the box. I set mine up on a shelf in the kitchen with my week card turned around so I can see it. My eyes are able to see the font okay, and I have been known to read with my readers layered over my regular glasses. I can read the cards with just my normal glasses. I definitely would not make the font smaller. The cards are a good idea and I like using a week to to put effort into a particular task.I just moved and already completed the entry way aso I decided to start with card two. Card two is paperwork, as I’m doing all my picture hanging and putting away I’m going to focus also on paperwork. Even though I got rid of a ton of old paperwork this would be a great time to not stash what I have away. This is an opportunity to get myself set up for success. Next year maybe I’ll go wild and shuffle the deck.

Stay on top of it
I just needed something to help me get started so I could stay on top of my organization. We downsized from five bedrooms to three about three years ago and I had “stuff” that I felt I needed to declutter but didn't know where to start with getting rid of it. It was not overly complicated as it broke it down by rooms and that was the simplest way to attack it. I’mstill in the middle of getting it done but I can see that there is a system and method to the madness, I truly recommend it and I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of stuff gone that I really don't need.
