Reliable heart rate feedback. Works with Garmin HRM Run modules too
I bought this strap to replace the strap frommy Garmin HRM run. The module from my Garmin fits into this strap fine (see first two photos). The space between the 2 metal connectors must be ever so slightly smaller on the garmin as the polar belt has a very tiny kink in it which can be seen in the second photo. This has absolutely no impact on its effectiveness and can’t be felt at all while wearing it.The problem I had with the Garmin strap is that it would show a very high heart rate between the 2-3 and 9-10 minute mark and then drop down to a normal reading. It would also suffer from spikes in heart rate that were far higher than my max heart rate. You can see these on the third photo. With the Polar strap I’ve had none of these issues. Consistent heart rate readings the increase and decrease as expected with me perceived effort.I’m about 10 runs in now and it’s been rock solid throughout. Can’t complain.

Quality accessory when investing in yourself.
Comfortable and easy to wash. Move the buckle so you can reach it easy when tired after workout. They come in different sizes and colours. Its hard to see how it could be improved.

Comfortable reliability
Comfort fabulous - fits well, no seams or raised areas to chafe. No irritation from plastics used.Clasp is excellent. Easy to use and secureHr measurement reliability in use is great. It is consumable / textile - so lasts in proportion to use and care... Wash in accordance to instructions, as harsh washes accelerate wear. Pull the H10 off with care so poppers stay bonded. These will help extend life. I do wish polar would look into durability - other straps do last much longer (although don't read as reliably or fit so easily and comfortably)..

The chest belt with easy-release.
The easy-release fastening on this belt makes it worth buying. It also inspires confidence that it is made by a brand with long experience in sports metrics.

Comfortable and appears accurate paired with Garmin sensor.
Having gone through numerous replacement straps for a Garmin HRM, this one definitely seems the best.Sturdy and comfortable to wear this strap appears not to suffer the drop outs or inaccurate readings of cheaper options (including the official Garmin offering).Technically, it's not a perfect match for the Garmin sensor but it does fit and definitely works.Watch out for sizing though. You'll probably need a bigger one than you think. I'd normally think that 2XL would be far too big so I thought "M to 2XL" would definitely fit someone that needs Castelli XL or Endura L. But no, this one is only just big enough.P.S. Thanks for the tip "DC Rainmaker. com" (all one word)!

Polar h10 (replacement) strap
Was having some haywire readings on the hrm : sub-100 bpm readings are fine :) , but am not particularly convinced by sub-40 & sub-30 bpm ones (!!). Changed battery in (h10) hrm unit first, without any improvement. Time (for me) to swap out the not-yet-three-years-old h10 strap, next. Opted for the Polar Pro strap which is very nice and has worked flawlessly today, although an old Garmin strap (still with h10 unit) did the job for a few days, whilst waiting for the replacement to arrive. ’Many thanks’ to Amazon for organising delivery of a second strap, after I initially received a size I hadn’t ordered (these things happen) ; much appreciated.

Failling after only 170 workouts
So I've had this strap since July 2024. Since then I have done 176 workouts. Usually either kettlebells, kickboxing or the occasional 1-3mile run. I did have no problems until recently, however, over the last few weeks i've had a number of connection issues and cut outs mid workout and its driving me mad. It's getting to the point where my H10/strap is more unreliable than reliable. In the last three to four weeks ive had 6 times when the strap/H10 has stopped tracking my HR and does not recconect. This seems to be a common problem going by searches on google and reddit and google. But I cannot seem to find a fix.I often get a sold red heart with a solid red circle around it on the "start" screen on Polar Flow or Polar Beat. When It does this its very tricky to fix. I've tried disconecting the H10 from the strap, restarting my phone, taking the battery out of the H10, doing the reset thing with the two silver prongs. Sometimes it resets and starts working and sometimes it doesnt.I'm also getting random cut outs during my workouts which is infuriating. The H10 will be tracking fine and then all of a sudden it will stop tracking completely.I look after it as per the instructions and i've changed the battery more times than I can remember. I've checked the strap and there is no wear and tear on the strap at all.Its a useful tool, but like I say its becoming more unreliable than reliable.

Comfortable chest strap
Comfortable strap for my Polar H10, ordered because the one I bought with the sensor was far too small so needed a replacement.
