Its ok
Very, very uncomfortable after a while, you can feel the springs but I suppose it is good value for the money payed at the time. I’d recommend for light people, kids, or if it’s only temporary.

It seems soft when you sit on it but it's firm when you lie on it & seems adequately comfortable to me
I can't decide if it's soft or firm. It seems soft when you sit on it but it's firm when you lie on it & seems adequately comfortable to me. Considering I was quoted by another online retailer £50 for a single mattress (a bit more luxury but! the bedding industry is getting a bit o.t.t. with it) plus £25 delivery and £15 to take away the old mattress I'm pleased as punch. I've stuffed the old mattress in the box and hopefully I'll be able to throw it in the back of the weekly collection. After a few weeks the water bed feeling has worn off the mattress seems firmer and I find it remains quite comfortable now it's settled in. No probs here & I am tipping the scales at 95kg these days. Most wear and tear on this sort of mattress develops from wearing through the material on the top over the course of a couple of year's daily use. So if you cover it with something it will last just as well as any other mattress. As for the hypo allergenic aspect you can get a ziplock cotton protector for your mattress, and duvet and pillow protectors. Plus I have added another underbarrier because of my wire frame bed to stop any tearing and another hypo allergenic waterproof mattress cover so it doesn't get all sweaty and smelly. Dust mite theory says if you do not allow sweat and flakes of skin to seep into the mattress or other dust particles it will deny mites any sustenance and prevent them inhabiting the mattress. Plus I have another spare cover for washing. I want this to last as well and it will if properly taken care of. Most of the wear and tear on these sorts of matttress is the material wearing thin on the top so if you cover it with something. If you really can't stand it well buying a mattress topper would probably fix your issues and it would still be cheaper than other retailers. So I find it useful as a block in a multi layered system of keeping the bed linen clean. When you think about it for a bit you do in fact want some sort of set up that has removable and washable layers rather than a mattress that is all hypo allergenic etc.. all in one piece because you can't use it while you're cleaning it. The only way known to man to clean mattresses is to get an industrial beater such as used in hotels. The only other way, prevention is better than cure, zip it up in a mattress protector.3 months on mine is still good and comfy no problems here.

Surprisingly better than expected.
A simple and easy mattress. Arrives rolled up in a box.I bought this to slip under my bed as a spare for unexpected guests. I would NOT recommend this mattress as a permanent fixture in a bedroom - works purely as a one-night stop-over to offer someone something marginally more comfortable than a floor. As anticipated for the price, it's lumpy and you can feel the springs. However, with a duvet (or something similar) on top to add a bit of comfort, this has always provided a comfy temporary bed, so really, it's all a bit better than I anticipated. Never had any complaints, and I've slept happily on it for a few nights before.DO buy this product if you have occasional guests!DON'T buy this product for a loved one to use nightly.

good for money
i've just bought this product to go with my sons first proper bed, when this product first arrived i thought i had made a mistake it came rolled up in a box,i took it out of the box and it was in a pollothene covering but all you noticed was all the springs it looked really uncomfortable and i just thought my god what have i bought but after scratching my head for a second and a little hum and areing i heard a hiss and promptly realised that it was vacume packed and ounce i popped the cover the mattress went straight into shape felt like an idiot for a while but was much more pleased with the product for the money it's a decent buy it'll probs last a few years and i'm more than pleased with that for the money i spent all in all it's a happy medium

A case of you get what you pay for
My grandsons needed mattress’s and as several needed price was an issue however these mattresses are economical but not so comfortable as expected so added toppers which added to overall cost...

Get what you pay for
Lasted our sons (3 & 5) about a year each, but it was only a few months before they started breaking. The planks aren't very strong and it isn't held together all that well.

The matress is very thin
The matress is not very thick but my mother does not like thick matresses so it was suitable for her.however, it is easily foldable into thin roll and could be used for the folding bed for example. Good value for money and is of universal use. The colour is practical. was delivered promptly.

Good for the price
I bought two for bunk beds. At the moment these mattresses seem to be listed in 3 different ways, with one being as a pair, while the other two offer 2 different prices, but with 2 different delivery costs. I think this one worked out the cheapest, though not by much. But as Tommy Cooper once said, "It's not the principle of the thing, it's the money."They are obviously made down to a price, and had I paid £100 for one it would have got perhaps 2 stars. However, having lay on one for a while it felt perfectly comfortable, and a fleecy under blanket improves things no end.The 6 inch thickness also means it's safe for the top bunk, and also being slightly smaller, as highlighted by a previous review, is an advantage on bunk beds as it allows plenty of tucking in space for sheets and quilts.A good buy.
