We recently bought a house that has quartz kitchen countertops. There was a seam between 2 pieces that had a 1/16" or better difference between the slabs. I just got finished using the polishing pad kit, with really great results. It took a bit of time using the 50 grit pad because there was so much to remove, but the others followed quickly, and the finished job is fabulous. No more lip between the slabs, and the polish is exactly the same as the original. The pads worked very well, but I recommend using water as a lubricant and coolant during all phases of polishing. By the way, there was an adhesive "note" on the velcro pad holder, stating that because of the feedback from Amazon reviews, the glue used to hold it to the baxking pad is now stronger and better. I totally agree, no issues at all. Kudos to the company for listening! I Highly Recommend this product A+++.

Just what we needed! We poured a concrete outdoor countertop and used these polishing pads to get a smooth and polished finish! Couldn’t be more pleased!!

Each grit leaves a smooth finish with no scratches. They can be used for wet and dry but I've gotten better and faster results when wet. The only issue I had was the drill skank. Won't stay snug on the backing plate and spins off everytime. I ended up super gluing the threads on the skank to the backing plate. So it stays in place.

I use these pads to polish rocks, stones and minerals. I’ve been purchasing a no name brand off of Amazon for a while now and last time they completely scratched up my rocks. Not sure if it was a bad batch or what but it was time to find a new product. I came across these Waies brand and the first thing that stood out was the fact that there was a name attached to them. Most are off brand, made in china, no name junk. Figured I’d give them a shot and see if I could salvage my $500 agates that were ruined. When I first received the pads and saw that the 6000 and 10000 grit pads were a different material I was nervous. I honestly didn’t think they polish, it feels very rough and I almost started a return before even trying them. I am so glad I gave them a shot, by grit 800 all of the scratches were gone and I could see a beautiful shine coming through. The backing is rock solid and strong. The pads are strong and sturdy as well. There is no play, movement or bending which will lead to uneven wear. I am beyond impressed by these pads and I’m already setting up a purchase for more sets before I can’t find these again. Thank you so much for making such an amazing product! Only bad thing is I now have to re polish every rock from the past now that I see the true potential of polishing.l with high quality pads. Add on- The off brand are $35-40. Not only are these 10 times better, they’re less expensive!

I was so excited to work with this set. It came last night and after working up to 400 grit, it flew off of the pad. I still havent found it. I got through to the 6000 grit and it left green scuffs all over my rocks, I had to go back to 800 grit to get it off and move on again. After 3000 grit I went to 10k grit, the last one, it flewoff and is lost too. The velcro isnt strong enough to stay on even at lower rpms. The pads do polish nicely while they worked. But now I don't trust them to stay on.

A really nice kit until the 3000 grit where the pad material shift to a brillo pad like material. The glue is just insufficient to last even a few minutes. Using a lower speed polisher still spun the pad across the room in the first 2 minutes leaving the velco attached to the tool. Great results up until that point.

The pads actually seem to be pretty decent. Not very flexible so probably not the best for inside corners if your polishing countertops. I wouldnt use them at more than 3000rpm either. The backer says its rated for 12000rpm and im pretty sure it would explode if you run it that fast. Wouldnt recommend running it at more than 5000rpm (the backer is kinda meh). Tested them out already and I can almost match the shine of the pads I use at work. Not quite though. (The pads I use at work are 30$ per single pad or an 8 pad set $240 for a set so tough competition lol)
