It has made such a difference to my 30 year old Cockateil he is like a young bird again. Wish they made it for humans.

I want to start off by saying I wasn't in the best situation with my pet budgie. I don't own a car, and there wasn't any avian vets nearby. So whenever my 6 year old budgie began to have digestive issues, fluffed up, no energy, and convinced me he was nearly gone, I had one last resort to talk to a bird expert to do anything I could. He wasn't defecating at all, and when he did it was thick, wet, and an alarming colour. I was recommended this product, thinking it was my last hope as I'd do anything to save his life or to even just help him through his last moments. I was so insanely wrong. As of a week of illness and after one day of giving this to him, he has gained energy, began running around, eating, drinking and has began returning to his normalicy. I am shocked at how this product saved my beloved pet, and I still can't believe his recovery is actually happening. Please, if you are in doubt, and are in a very rough situation with your pet, give this product a try. For it's price and the amount, it's worth a shot that may save your pets life. Words cannot express how thankful I am for this product.

I can't comment on whether this worked. I am very experienced with birds having had all sorts since childhood and over the last 30 odd years. It's very hard to tell if a bird is ill until they are seriously ill as they tend to mask the issue as they are pray animals and don't want to look like easy pickings to predators. Two of my cockatiels looked a little lethargic so I separated them from the others in hospital cages, kept them a safe distance from a heater and have given them plenty of fresh chop and an changing their water several times a day. My guess is as it's both the males that are affected only, it's seasonal affective disorder - basically they don't like being taken in from the aviary when it's too cold out there and are adjusting to indoors and are a bit stressed out about being taken from their territory (although both are tame). I got this powder to be safe as possible, I'd prefer not to take a costly trip to the vets so will do all I can before that is the only option. Some people gave this a negative review because there were salts in a pack within the bottle to keep the powder dry - I didn't have this issue so maybe they have listened to reviewers and changed this. If the birds recover on their own, I can't possibly say it's down to this or not as I have done a multitude of things to help them. Therefore I'll give it 5 stars just because it is cost effective, easy to use (just add it to water or sprinkle some on food) and hopefully works!

My budgie was ill ,I thought he was on hes way to budgie heaven. I took vets but it wasn't a bird vet , didn't help much , so I tried this stuff, I couldn't believe the change in him after 4 hours he came out and sat on top of he's cage , he's now Normal NOISY budgie 🤣 it's been 2 weeks and he's back to himself

Palatable.Easy to dissolve. 1 scoop to 100ml water.....so if you are dosing a flock of hens, this doesn't go far ...Best for one hen in sick Bay. Need to keep in my poultry first aid kit.
