Perfect for babies
My little one loved this. It was so easy for him to hold and helped soothe him when his teeth were coming through. I loved how I could pop it in the fridge to cool it. It is easy to clean too and convenient to take out and about. Definitely recommend, great value!

On my list of baby essentials!
What can I say... everyone has a Sophie because, well, they're just really good!I don't do 'buying stuff coz everyone else has one' so I wasn't sure if I'd been pulled into the hype when I got this... but honestly it's top of my list of things I think everyone needs for their baby when they start wanting to put everything in their mouth! My little one is particularly dexterous with his hands so this has been fab for him to hold and chew at the same time. I do know another baby of the same age who doesn't get on with hers because she can't hold on to it, so it's not going to be perfect for all babies but we're talking 3-4 months old here so I'm sure when they grow a bit it won't be an issue.I think they must be so good for baby because the rubber feels really good to chew on. My baby is 5 months old now and not teething as such, but does need to chew and suck constantly, and he's got quite a bite on him!! He can really get his gums into the rubber, and whichever part he's holding there's always a bit that fits in his mouth.Easy to steralise too- we just pop it in our microwave steraliser.

Easily to grab and hold on to. Perfect for my 5 month old
The Sophie Giraffe teething ring has been an excellent purchase for my little one. I first got it when she was 4 1/2 months old, and she was able to hold onto it easily and put it to her mouth. Now she's 5 1/2 months old and can pick it up for herself when it's nearby. The natural rubber has been great on her sore gums. She particularly likes chewing on the head but it's great that every part can be chewed. There are no sharp parts or angles to worry about. It wasn't cheap but I do think it's probably worth it. Highly recommended!

My little boy smiles at Sophie :)
My little boy (6 months old) does seem to like Sophie and it distracts him for a good few minutes and seems to talk to it haha - he prefers this to any other teether I have tried with him. It's worth the money because it does work for a while. Best to use in conjuction with teething powder and calpol I find!

Love it, just as my baby does!
Simply great, just as its bigger sister the original Sophie la Giraffe: high quality of material, very nice design, plus made in Europe and finished by hand, This little version of Sophie might be a better option for some smaller babies as it is probably easier to handle than the bigger sized original Sophie rubber toy, though my baby uses both since she was about 3 months old and could handle as well the bigger one without any problem. We use this teether alternative especially when on a walk, attached with a strap in order to avoid losing it, the last thing we want to happen!

Perfect for teething babies...
I had one of these for my eldest (now 4) and he loved it, so there was no question I would buy another for my new baby.Unlike its more famous counterpart, this teether is very firm producing very satisfying texture and feedback to a teething infant. It's also extremely easy to hold and not too large. Being solid and of relatively simple construction, cleaning/sanitising is no problem. I've found that water gets inside the regular Sophie making it less hygienic - no such problem here. There aren't any concerns about baby choking on the legs either with this design.I will undoubtably buy a regular Sophie when my baby is older as the legs are perfect for getting to those pesky molars cutting through. But in the meantime, this is ideal and by far my son's favourite teether.

Baby likes chewing on it. Hurray.
Only had it a day so don't know how well Itl last but the great news is my baby seems to like it. He's 6 months old and it's kept him quite a good few minutes. I've bitten on it and I can see the appeal. The firmness is just right. I still think it's quite expensive though. I imagine it's making a hefty profit. For that price they should include some accessories like a box to carry it in and a rope or ribbon for attaching it to something. It does collect dirt / dust easily but that's to be expected with that material and that material is what makes it so chewable.I've always chosen to try other tethers over Sophie with my other kids because of the price but not found anything great which is why I decided to go for Sophie this time plus this was the cheaper Sophie the giraffe option
