Cheap key caps - good chance of breaking during cleaning
The keyboard feels good and looks neat, but after several years of use I had to take it apart to clean. The keys are latching on with cheap plastic that are prone to break when taken off, meaning I am left with a back space and enter key that cannot be reattached to the keyboard. Definitely not worth the money - replacement keys are not an option outside of US.

Best ever and so sad...
Why oh why did they stop making this keyboard? If I'd known and had the money I'd have bought at least two. One as back up. Love t the colours, love the low profile keys and love the feel when typing.Instead of the M750 or Pro they should have just given the 800 a metal case and the new keys ( low profile though). That's it. Instead we get the 750 and Pro with those high profile keys on a slither of metal, no thanks.

it is fine except some of the keys break
it seems to be made with some very brittle plastic, at least both my enter keys broke inside with the small plastic pieces that hold them down so now they come out all the time just by pressing down which is very frustrating if you are trying to type. all other keys are fine.fyi: i have had the keyboard less than a year.

I love this keyboard and I hatae it to ffucking bits. Please don't buy one!
Okay, as I'm writing this review, I'm typing it on my precious Steellseries Apex M800 and to show you ll why I hate it, I'm lleaving in all the missing/double (tripplle?) chars that my belloved keyboard hs decided to add or remove. Just to show you how bloody annoying it is to type on. As you cn see, I havae issues with particularly 'a's aand l's, they appear out of nowhere or suddenly won't output despite my insistaant pressing. Most frusstraating when you're a fast typer and a bit of a grmmar/typing nazi aas well asaa a aperfectionist. For fairness' sake, here is whattt I love about the keyboarad and why I purchased it in the first place:Low profille. Hooo boy is it greaat for my small hands and short fingers, I don't have to lift my hands off the tablle like I do with other mechanical keyboards. And the typing, the typing goes llightning fast because of the super sensitive keys; if I were a fast typer before, that is NOTHING compared to what I can manage on the M800. Love, love, LOVE that about it!Sadly, the fact that I can type fast on it is ruined by the fact that I spend more ttime going back and fixing my 'typing' mistakes than I gain from wdriting on this lovely keyboard. Also, this is my SECOND M800, which I bought when I thought I'd simply worn the old one out after a few years of use but as time would tell, it is now displaying all the same isssues aas the first one did.And this is not an inexpensive keyboard, either. I got mine on sale for £90+ which was a bargain at the time. But if you have to get a new one after a year of solid use, you're better off getting something else.A ffew factas regarding my keyboards:- Yes, I have both usb connecttors connected- Yes, I have the latest Steelseries Engine- Yes, my drivers are up-to-date- Yes, I've checked for issues with the problem keys, the key caps have been off and there is nothing visibly wrong.Anything else, please ask me a question, I'll be happy to reply as best I can

Cheaply made
I bought this keyboard a while back after around 6 months the keyboard lights would cut out randomly and even sometimes flash rapidly or only some keys would light up, got it replaced under warranty and the new one after about 8 months started falling apart keys would just brake off or get stuck and not be able to be pressed (due to part of the key braking and getting wedged) the keyboard might feel sturdy but the keys are total rubish.
