We bought this learning resource jumbo tweezers for our son after recommendation from the teacher to improve his fine motor skills.The tweezers arrived after a few days and are bigger than I would have hoped but equally have a good first finger section as well as a four tooth section at the end to help hold securely whatever they are trying to tweezer.The tweezers feel like they are made from a decent quality plastic and therefore wouldn't snap if squeezed too tightly.The tweezers themselves are quite firm but I think this is better as it will help to improve the small muscles between our sons fingers when using them - they are firm but not too tight. We are hoping to continue using them and will see an improvement in his fine motor skills.

Great size, perfect for little hands and for practicing fine motor skills and pincer grip. Also Great for party games for older kids too as we played a fun game at my daughters 8th birthday party using these to carry marshmallows and sweets between different bowls in a race. So very versatile overall! Lovely bright colours too and seem quite sturdy so should last.

Was a great product to help son with motor skills

I bought these tweezers to add another element to sensory play and help develop my daughters hand eye coordination. They are well made and durable, although surprisingly stiff considering they are aimed at young children. My daughter is almost two and is just about able to squeeze them, but she enjoys playing with them and moving things around with them. I suspect they will loosen up in time.

Happy with the product. Delivery was fast. I do recommend and would buy again.

firstly I disagree with the comments there too stiff. they have some stiffness but as a nursery nurse myself children need some stiffness to exercise the fine motor muscles in the finger and thumb. these tweezers help with grasp , hand eye coordination, handwriting and fine motor skills. I tried these myself firstly and I felt that my thumb and fingers muscles getting a good workout . they need some stiffness to exercise and strengthen the finger and thumb muscles. its not too stiff. I was going to cancel my order because of the reviews here. but they came within 3days and i am glad I didn't because there really good

I imagine these are great for what they're designed for.I purchased a pair to squeeze together a childproof clip as I have arthritis in my fingers but unfortunately I still couldn't manage to open them.
