It tires him out and stimulates his brain. He tries to pick it up and would spend all day chasing it if I didn’t take it off him after his workout it’s time for him to sleep to take him back down it has made him so much calmer than before. Only thing was late delivery when using prime. The impressions of dogs on the ball has meant that he worked out how to pick it up. He corners the ball and finds a groove for his tooth then moves his jaw to find another. This is mentally stimulating him as well and at 8 inches across he hasn’t managed to fit it in his mouth he had 2 others which were 5 inches and got his teeth into him. So get the right size. I bought this 2 years ago for my dog as present, and fast forward to now it's still in great shape despite the few scratch marks my dog has given it. He'll play with for hours and not get tired of it. Plus it means no more buying balls after a day lol.I recommend this if you're thinking of getting a ball, just make sure you get the right size for pet! :) For reference my dog is a german shepard x rottweiler mix so I got the 10 inch, the largest.

I feel I would like to address the other negative reviews on here. Do not buy your dog a small ball that they can get their teeth round, it needs to be big!! The 8” ball and upwards I would recommend. Hours of fun and will last a lifetime.
