I got this because I was having trouble sleeping. When it came in I tried it that very night. It worked well for me, although the smell is a bit strong. I added some slippery elm to it and made it more palatable.

It’s true this smells so strong. I can’t comment on the taste bc I put it in my feeding tube. But ever since I started it my dreams are super vivid

Know your body, for some people Valerian is great, for some, not so much. The taste can be overpowering. This is a nice blend and it works great for my nighttime tea.

I was recommended valerian root for my sleep issues and loss of vivid dreaming. It has restored my vivid dreams and has lessened my sleep issue in just a couple of days. It does smell like earth covered feet which is why I pair it with chamomile, lavender and honey for a tea. The tea is much more tasty that way. I do agree with some of the other reviews that say the better bargain is to purchase the larger package and I am glad I did. I will definitely be buying this item again when it is depleted.

I love this brand and have purchased it several times and will again. I have used it and love it.

I don't even know if this is Valerian. The color is too dark, the smell isn't right and the taste is not right. I got the worst headache the next day after just adding about a teaspoon to my real Valerian (which is running low) tea. I don't know why I even bought a different brand. The other brand I bought from here works great for sleep and has a nice earthy taste. I usually add a peppermint tea bag with it.I left 1 star because this is going in the garbage. Money wasted. The only thing I can think of is this Valerian is either home grown or from a different region that it changes everything. It might be Valerian just really bad Valerian. Just like all Coffee isn't equal quality. Id spend a few more $ and go with the other brand if you need help with sleep.
