I bought this flying orb toy mini drone in blue as a gift for my coworkers son. He is really into electronics and I wanted to get him a cool electronic gift with personality, and this drone toy really fits the bill. The blue color seemed great for s boys birthday, and the light functions are really fun! This ball I a delight to play with. It works like a boomerang and comes back to you. It's really fun to play in a group and get the whole family involved. No matter what he age, if you can can a ball you can use this toy. It's anti drop and as AI technology that makes this a long lasting hard to break toy as well. It's super simple and easy to use, just shake to turn on or off, and charge with a USB. Great toy, great gift!

Truth: I didn’t expect much from this product. It looked cool, but felt so light and insubstantial, I thought it my last a few days before the grandkids unintentionally broke it.I WAS SO WRONG!Not only did it hold up to literally hours of play, but at one point it landed in the pool and immediately sank to the bottom. Wonder of wonders! The ball worked immediately after being retrieved from the deep end of the pool. It continued working and the kids were still playing with it when we pulled out and headed home a few days later. By that time, it had landed on concrete, banged into walls (internal and external) and rolled on asphalt. This toy holds up to vigorous play, for sure.It kept adults, 13 year old girl and 10 year old boy thoroughly entertained for days. It charges pretty quickly, 20 ish minutes and the battery life is longer than the advertised 8 - 10 minutes.NB: the act of plugging the charger into the ball is a little dicey for those of us with big fingers. But, once you get the hang on it, it’s not too bad.👍

Not an easy to to learn and made very cheaply, the design is cool and the lights work well, but real flimsy and won’t last long I’m sure of that, not to mention you have to through the ball very slowly and perfectly or it just takes off and is useless, would not purchase if I’d known this.Update 5/21/25The seller reached out and fixed my issue to make sure I was happy with purchase so definitely a 5 star seller for sure.

I got this for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. It’s pretty loud & she’s actually a lil scared of it. She thinks the colors are really cool though & it is entertaining. It crashes a lot but hasn’t broke yet. We’re learning how to control it better but I would recommend for an older child.

Ad says to use indoor or outdoor. However, on beginning our fourth flight after four charges (all of 25 minutes flying time), device made an "unexpected flight trajectory" and went straight up and flew away. It clearly suffered a guidance failure and did not even attempt a "boomerang" flight pattern. Even though we chased after it, we were not able to locate where it went or where it landed. It is lost for good. Needless to say, my two grandchildren were very unhappy.Update on June 16, 2023Noting the above review, it is noteworthy that Tikduck customer service responded very quickly. They sent me another unit per my request and it arrived in record time. Their responsiveness was excellent!We used the flying ball several times outside and it was truly fun. My granddaughters loved it! However, upon the fourth outing in a week, it suffered a hardware failure. The LED flex circuit (creates the beautiful colors) tore off in a crash. It produced a sharp point protruding from the ball's cage making it a bit dangerous. In addition, the colors ceased. I am afraid that this product just isn't durable enough. It is a clever design but not up to the rigors of the intended play. My one star rating remains.

I wasn't expecting much out of this gizmo. It was the last of the silly gifts I wrapped this year for adults, not expecting that it would be the coolest thing under the tree!It's based on the same thing that has been making drones so much fun to play with. It's driven by a propeller and gyros to give it some of the fun characteristics it possesses. We spent the holidays with record rain, so this stayed indoors. Despite that and unless you really are trying to knock that ugly lamp your MIL gave you onto the floor to break in a million pieces, your Flying Orb will not do the job for you--just knock the damn thing down with your arm and blame it on this clever little toy.I'd think that it could adapt to frisbee yard games. It does a pretty good job terrorising the pets, though I admit I haven't had the chance to test this out menacing a wolf that appear around here sometimes.I'll get back to you if that was a clever idea, or you can read about the strange attack by a wild animal in Oregon...Otherwise, get one of these silly things and have a blast! I can't think of a celebration that wouldn't be the same without one or two Orb Balls flying about. They beg to be played with~!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son in love. He loves it and has enjoyed playing with it. My grandson too.
