Don't hesitate
I have one of these Nomad's in my guild 12 string and it works great and keeps the humidity consistent. That distilled water soaked pad keep water WAY longer than anything else I have used. My Guild is safe. I have 3 Martin noodle slinky like humidity controls that snake into the guitar body and they do not do much but a few degree increase for humidity as detected in my separate humidity control gauges. Also got D'Addario packets and they suck too. SO I bought another Nomad and will buy more until I have enough for all my acoustic guitars.

No Guessing
Good humidifier for my Taylor. Really like not having to guess humidity with the percentage display. I live in AZ so its mostly dry year around. Seems accurate. Little pricy but worth it.

Good fit and function.
I bought my first all wood acoustic guitar and live in a humid environment, so I wanted to be able to take good care of it and keep it in tip top playing shape. I like how the hygrometer fits into the guitar by the strings (why I bought it). I fill small muslin bags with 30 grams of silica gel and fit them between the strings when the humidity gets too high. These will reduce the humidity by a lot in a small amount of time, and the hygrometer works well to let me know when it's time to add or remove the silica bags. I'm able to keep the guitar in a 45-50% humidity range really easily. I give it 4 stars because I think it's a bit overpriced. You can get 4 hygrometers for 10 bucks. But I was willing to pay the premium because it attaches to the guitar strings.

Inexpensive and easy to use, works great.
Great product at a great price. Works exactly as described. Do to winter and a pellet stove my acoustic was at 25% humidity. After 5 days the sponge was dry but the case humidity was nearly 40% after another week case humidity was over 50%

Measures Temperature, Humidity, and Increases Humidity
I bought this humidifier by chance after a humidifier of another brand arrived with a pin hole. This one has worked flawlessly. Moreover, it alerted me to the fact that our house was at about 27% humidity. This explained a lot - dry itchy skin, etc. Ultimately it led me to discover that the installers of our water heater in 2021 failed to turn the water supply to the house humidifier back on. The lack of humidity actually led to floor boards popping off the beams. I can only hope that my 1956 Martin survived these dry years unscathed. Now it and my new classical guitar are protected by humidifiers. I would highly recommend this humidifier with its hydrometer feature.

Excellent humidifier for acoustic and hollow-body guitars or basses.
As my guitar instructor once told me, an acoustic guitar is basically a tree that is trying to die. Lack of humdity is a great way to advance the deterioration of an acoustic or hollow-body guitar or bass. I live in a region of the Unites States where humidity can vary from 11% to 30% throughout the year. I was considering getting a humidity controlled cabinet to store multiple acoustic guitars that I own. I found this product and this is an excellent solution for conditions here without having to make a significant investment for humidity control. Pros: The product is easy to use, easy to maintain and does not require any electricity or other utilities. Does not damage strings or cause them to go out-of-tune. Cons: You do have to re-hydrate the spong pads that go inside the humidifier about once per week. Requirements: Humidifer requires the instrument to have a sound hole and is not compatible with solid-body guitars or bases. The humidifier uses string-tention to hold it securely in the sound hole. You also have to distilled water for the spong pads included with the product. The instructions do not recommend the use of regular tap water to avoid mold, deposits or contamination of the spong pads. Note: Guitar in the photo is a Breedlove Concert series acoustic guitar.

Allerdings muss man natürlich regelmäßig destilliertes Wasser nachfüllen. Die Handhabung ist denkbar einfach.

I have a 23 yr. old rosewood guitar and this keeps the moisture level just right. Just check it every few days.

思ってたより良いかも!スポンジも程よく水を吸い込むし、電子表示も見やすい! 時期的にあと1か月ぐらいの使用になるが加湿器を早々としまってしまい購入しました。
