Lonely Planet's Best in Travel 2018: the best trends, destinations, journeys & experiences for the year ahead

We bought this for a colleague as her Secret Santa pressie. She was really chuffed with it and has already been to Seville, partly inspired by this book. And she still hasn’t worked out who gave her it.It gave good ideas for short and slightly longer breaks in each place. She used the itinerary as her starting point.

An excellent gift for someone unsure of where to to or a frequent traveller. The book has a great section of where to go and when so you can ensure you are visiting places when thing are going on and are making the most out of your time there.

I love Lonely Planet's books - this one features the top 10 countries cities and regions to visit in 2018, illustrated with some great pictures and with great accompanying narrative and advice for the prospective traveller. Lots of fresh ideas of places to go add to the bucket list

Bought this book for my grown up kids and they love it . A few friends in reading it over Christmas are now buying it as the layout is so useful for planing a trip .

This is a handy little travel book if you are planning your next trip and are not quite sure where to go. I gave it as secret santa gift and it was very well received.

Gorgeous, heavily detailed and photographed. What I’ve come to love and expect from the lonely planet series. I love the hardcover book and place it nicely next to their “the world” book on our coffee table. You’ll enjoy the break from reality and the trips across the world in your own living room!
