Based on the dimensions provided this light is only about half the size of the movie prop? Am I correct?

I’ve no idea the size of the movie prop, but this item is 27 cm in diameter if it was a full shield

Can I remove and restick on another wall?

It’s a bit of a nightmare but if you try it remove slowly and use double sided tape for the new wall!

How do they fix to the wall?

The sticker goes on wall first with the screw locations on the sticker,drill holes and put screws into wall leaving the head of the screw sticking out enough for the holes in the back of the shiled to fit onto.

If your son/grandson loves super heroes and you want it as a nightlight yes go for it. My grandson just uses it as an ornament now he is older.
