Good value for the price . Does the job ok .

I wanted to use this kit to do an audio installation in my car, so it was important to have the right mix of crimps as well as tools to get the job done quickly and cleanly.I found that overall, the kit was ideal for the job. The wire stripper worked first time, every time and saved quite a bit of time. The crimper is just your average cheap crimper, so nothing really to say there other than it was a bit stiff when first using it, so make sure you oil it, as I think they did not do a good job of this from factory. After that, it worked well once you figured out which part of the connector you need to hold it over before pressing down.I ended up using all the fork connectors, so purchased a replacement bag. Overall, I think it is a great little kit to buy and then top up as and when you start to use up the various connectors.

I have had them for some time but have not used them very much.They work well when used and even though they do not feel that expensive they are a noticeable step above the usual cheap and nasty tools you can buy.Ideal for occasional use, which suits me fine.Good value, especially considering you get two solid tools and decent accessories.

was after a crimper for broken wires on my motorbike a crimper set eas all i needed but for the price i though this might be handy as there is awire stripper / cutter thrown in a sthe set.got to say the wire stripper is great quality so is the crimper but i am more impressed with the wire cutter/stripper this tool is heavy dutie and does a amamzing jobglad i tbought this and not just the crimper

Only arrived yesterday so not had time for a proper hands on use yet, however the crimping tool (blue) has a wire cutter at the tip and on inspection the jaws do not close fully so probably won't cut wire, nothing that i can't sort out with a bit of filing, but shouldn't really have to considering they are brand new, and not cheap really. Luckily the set comes with a wire cutter anyway which seems to be of good quality. The connectors in the kit are not the best either, very tight to fit together and take quite a bit of effort. Draper used to be a brand you could rely on for good quality tools, however it looks like they have moved production to China and as a result quality has suffered, yet they still charge a premium because of their name. It's about time these once good companies realise that they can not reduce the quality and still charge a premium just because of their name. Overall not a bad kit but on hindsight really not worth £20.

Again I got these for my brother hes always messing/tinkering with his bike and he was going to get some cheap ones.....but these are very good value for this branded set which includes essential wire strippers. The wire stipper in the crimpers are okay but you can get them ion to tight spaces. Best deal on this Draper set from this seller.
