Very poor quality for the price. Not recommended.
I'm a huge fan of The Boys, and Anthony Starr's Homelander is my favourite character. So while the price was steep, I was willing to spend the money in order to get a high-quality collectable. This turned out to be a mistake on my part. For a start, the hair is the wrong colour. Homelander is blond - Sister Sage even calls him, "Blond Ambition" in the show. This doll has brown hair. Ironically, the same colour of Anthony Starr's hair in real life. This immediately takes you out of the illusion. It simply doesn't look like Homelander. The doll comes equipped with tiny LED lights that are supposed to give Homelander his infamous Laser Vision. This looks quite impressive. In a dark room. From about six feet away. The problem is Homelander's eyes are painted, and in any case the LED's do not align exactly with the eye sockets. So they light up the area AROUND the eyes. In normal light, or at close range, it simply looks as though the leader of The Seven has come down with a nasty case of Pink Eye.The body is sturdy and posable. Unfortunately, it again doesn't resemble Homelander. In the show, Homelander wears a padded muscle suit, with fake pecs, abs etc to make him look more heroic. His actual build is quite slim; his Super Strength comes from his Powers, not the size of his muscles. This just looks like a generic Action Figure. There's no definition on the suit. It's completely smooth. The stand is nice and holds the figure well. You get a selection of different hands, although be advised: it takes considerable effort to change them. I was worried I might damage the wrist or arm, and only changed the hands once.A small picture in a frame - it's hard to tell because of the size but I think it's supposed to represent Homelander and Stillwell is included, along with a tiny bottle of breast milk and an even smaller phial of Compound V.The figure cost £222. For that price, I feel I have the right to expect high quality. This product doesn't meet that standard, and I'm giving serious consideration to returning it for a refund.
