We placed a decent sized arabian rug upstairs in the middle bedroom, however due to the wooden floor, it kept moving around. The non slip mat was a must and it came swiftly, i placed it over the rug to get an idea how much to cut off the sides so it wouldnt show underneath. Was very easy to cut with normal scissors. As its a criss cross design , it is very light and will easily mould over or around any imperfection on the floor if you have them. It also allows for the rug to naturally breathe. Excellent product, did the job. All rugs should come with these as standard. You should contact some of the major middle eastern rug sellers in UAE , Turkey and UK and see if they will order batches as I havent seen them with them. Just remember me if you do end up doing well :)

I have two corners held in place by sofa legs and so rug is fairly steady. This thing makes it almost as good as carpet. Ofcourse the corners can still lift up but on the whole it has made it much more secure. If it was thicker then it could have made the rug feel more soft.

The underlay was roughly cut and the edges were not at all straight. It is easily corrected with a pair of kitchen scissors. It did fit under the rug although not all the way to the edges. It does the job perfectly, though, and the rug does not slide around at all anymore. I have laminate flooring and it works perfectly.

Having read a lot of reviews, both positive and negative, I was drawn to this gripper. It's not 100% slip proof but it is slip resistant. We have a shiny laminate floor and when my partner sat on the sofa she would push her feet so the 2.6 x 1.6m rug would slip away. I was getting fed up with constantly rearranging it. After having cut and fitted the gripper I sat on the sofa and tried to "push" the rug with my feet. I had to exert some force before it finally moved, and it only moved a little. Totally satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this gripper to anyone who has problems with a rug on a slippery floor. Not quite sure why people have purchased this to go between rug and carpet, because that is not its intended purpose. You need plastic self adhesive grippers for that.

Hab in für meine Runden Teppiche gekauft weil auf den Fliesen rutscht er immer hin und her.Zurecht geschnitten passt er unter die Teppiche und er rutscht nicht mehr.Selbst das herumtollen von meinen Katzen hält er aus.
