Accurate readings, easy in use. Like the auto on/off function when you open and close probe. Good backlight if needed. Magnet on rear is great way to keep it handy when not in use. I stick mine to the side of my cooker hood. Would recommend.

I missed this detail initially (it is listed in the product description). • You’re advised not to touch the probe directly (at all?), but you need to unfold it manually—which feels a bit contradictory. • The build feels a bit flimsy, especially the plastic housing. Summary: It’s a useful and affordable kitchen tool if you’re careful with handling and cleaning it. Just be sure to clean the probe with a damp cloth and avoid submerging or running it under water. Will revisit this review if long-term use brings up anything new.
