Koolpak Small Reusable Hot and Cold Ice Gel Pack 13cm x 14cm Triple + Free Sleeves

I got these just to keep cool on hot days rather than for any injury/medical purpose and I'm really pleased with them. The great thing about them is that they are pretty flexible even straight out of the freezer. Unlike water based ice packs the gel doesn't freeze solid it just firms up. So I can appreciate why people would use them for sprains etc as they'll mould to the body. For me I just wanted a couple of ice packs small and thin enough that I can pop in a pocket to help keel cool on really hot days and thanks to the sleeves they come in they're great for that. One in each pocket of shorts and it really helps, there's no freeze burn with them just a pleasant cooling sensation. The only caveat is they'll warm up to be beyond use (for me at least) within an hour or so max. But pop them in the freezer for an hour or so and they're good to go again. They're pretty cheap, reusable and do the job, 5 stars from me.

Stay cold for over an hour. Perfect for migraines when placed in a sleeve headband thing, bought separately. I had one from a useless freeze-migraine product. They freeze not too solid, and gentle kneading gets it a pair of them the right curve for the forehead - or any body part! You need to put a cloth, or your hair, between it and your forehead at first, as the cold is intense. My fringe does the trick! It lasts AGES! And I flip it for more cold. And then swifly replace the used up pair for another pair. I take them with me on journeys in a tiny coolbag. I've sat on the London Underground, on trains, (and I hooe to sit on planes if I can get themthrough security), with the strapped to my aching head. LIFE SAVERS!

Very good as cold pack, also good as heat pack which I use on my shoulder in my support. Comes with little covers so the pack does not go directly on your skin this is good. It says to make cold, freeze yes that’s fine. It says to heat microwave for 15 seconds. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT microwave these. I did when I first got them and it’s a good thing I was standing right there at the time or my microwave would surly have blown up. It stated to crackle and ignite inside. When I took it out it had melted and had a whole in so I had to dispose of it. I recommend putting it in some hot water to heat it up as I did and that is fine. Works well.

Perfect size I suffer from nose bleeds and was told to put a small ice pack on my forehead this is small enough and the cover stops freezer burn having a pack helps too as there are spares

Great relief and a pack of three means I used one while the other two were in the freezer so I could have constant cooling as I kept rotating the packs and the little pouch helped when first applied.

Really good value and keeps cold for a long time. I used this for an ankle sprain kept in place with an old knee high stocking. The muti-pack means you've always got one ready to use from the freezer.

These are perfect. I purchased these to use when my wisdom tooth wakes up, and they have been the only guaranteed pain reliever (I need pain relief in between treatments & Ice Gel Packs were recommended). I’ve scored these 4 stars instead of 5 as, for my usage, they could be slightly longer so they’re easier to hold against my jaw. But these are excellent. They also come with their very own little pouch so they don’t cause skin burns when in use. I am very happy with this item, and it’s one i would recommend. ** Haven’t bothered trying to heat them up as that’s not why I purchased these Gel packs. Gel Packs like these are generally better used for the cold, not the heat. If you’re looking for the heat, buy heat-only specific pads as they work a lot better than these types of ones (even though they’re advertised for both, they’re generally better as ice packs)
