I have an AEG Washing machine. I have a water softener so only need less than half the recommended powder for a full load but, over time, the soft water can leave the door and rubber surround a rather scummy. I have been advised in the past by various plumbers to only use washing POWDER as all these liquids and tabs eventually build up and block hoses, pipes etc and are not good for machines. This product seems to have worked - I was particularly wanting to clean the rubber surround from guck and this loosened and cleaned away most of it. It lathered up substantially on the hot cycle so I presume has cleaned the innards of the machine. I gave the machine an extra rinse cycle to get rid of any residue and It was then easy to wipe everything clean.There is no smell either. For the princely sum of £1.50 this has done the job for my machine, so I wouldn't hesitate recommending you to give it a go. Obviously if you aren't happy, then go for something famously branded and more expensive. Hope this is helpful.

Every 3 months I clean my machine by throwing a cup of bicarbonate soda or soda crystals inside the empty drum of my machine and putting it on the highest temperature wash with no laundry of course. This kept my machine smelling okay. Just okay. I was very impressed with this item. Following instructions I used 50ml of the solution to soak the machine drawer for 30 minutes, then rinsed it, put it back and poured the remaining solution in the drawer and did a 60 degree empty wash. It was easy to use and left my drum and machine drawer smelling fresh with a light linen scent that wasn't overpowering. Even the next day the aroma remains. I will be buying this again in 3 months to clean my machine again.

Bit of a spur of the moment purchase. No different to the one you can buy in the supermarket. Did an ok job on the washing machine but the black stuff in the runner seal is still there despite trying to wipe it out.

This is one of the best washing machine cleaners. However, all the bottles had leaked into the package of my most recent order, so not sure I'll order again.

can honestly say this was the worst waste of money i have ever spent on amazon. i purchased two bottles on same order, i did the first one the day after i got it and the machine still have the same whiffy stale smell so i did the 2nd bottle the day after and annoyingly it still stank the next day. awful waste of money. would never never recommend this not even to a worst enemy. extremely dissapointing. will stick to dr beckmann as that is brilliant will never try a cheaper brand now

Bon produit qui sent très bon mais plutôt monter la t° à 95 °C pour un bon nettoyage du tambour. Car il est préconisé sur la notice 60° C je trouve cela insuffisant pour dissoudre les encrassements.
