YP2/23/128/1G Standard Security Luggage Combination Padlock - Grey

A great little padlock Ideal for my suitcase, I bought it for use during a hospital stay.

A few months ago I bought two of these locks as I was travelling in and out of Manila's international airport. Needed combination locks on my hand luggage and bumbag (kept inside the hand luggage), just to really (ultra) secure a wallet containing cash from any dodgy security staff (plenty of reports about this) working that day, in the event my hand luggage got put aside for inspection. These locks work well. Both open and lock easily after changing the combination number. Note: Changing the combination lock is not hard, but I can see it becoming slightly fiddly for some and perhaps frustrating if an individual struggles with the mini guide supplied. If you do not already know how to change this type of multi-combination lock from Yale, it may be an idea to watch a quick video today on how to do this and then bookmark the video for when your Yale lock arrives for easy reference. This will prevent frustration and possibly, if it is possible, damaging the combination lock while trying to change the number.

Took me a while to figure out how to set my out code. Does the job. Instructions needs to be better.

Light duty but it's alright

I appreciate small combination padlocks like this one are not high security locks but this one does not inspire confidence at all. It is cheaply made, the body is two halves pinned together and obviously so. There is however no movement if you try to casually pry the two halves open. Not sure how it would stand up to someone who actually wanted to break the lock open though. Despite being quite small, the combination dial numbers are clear and readable which is good. Not all are.

Very solid, easy to use, perfect fit for the zipper bag

This tiny little lock feels solid enough for a suitcase or backpack use. Do not expect miracles from it. It works well for small applications (definitely not to close a door or a shed with it for example). If you want a small lock for a small bag or suitcase, then this lock will work well. The combination lock can be changed by the user and is very straightforward. Just follow the instruction paper included with it.
