I was looking for a diamond steel, this is not it! In fact I'm still trying to work out what the diamond part of this product means.I bought this to replace a steel I have inherited from my grandmother which must be 60 years old minimum which I fortnight not be working as well as it might but when I tried the new one nothing happened the knife didn't get anywhere near sharp so I've switched back to the old one which by comparison works like a dream!

I use a steel at work for sharpening fishknifes.so decided to get this one for our kitchen knifes.it works very well bringing back blunt knifes to a good sharp edge.

Not enough bite to it .It is about as good as the worn out one I bought it to replace.

Item arrived on time and is as described. I have sharpened three carving knives, but have yet to try them on a joint of meat.
