Excellent!! Gave this to my 9yr old son ...
Excellent!! Gave this to my 9yr old son for Christmas... He was wanting a full size drum kit so compromised and purchased this one. The sound is excellent, it does so much! My son hasn't stopped playing and recording on it...plus the best bit, it takes headphones ;0)

Very well ... it delivers as promised! I'm happy with tis purchase, especially with the bass drum and hi hat pedal.

Has some flaws
I think this is overpriced for what it is, but the build quality is completely fine and the kit looks lovely, though. I bought it for adult drumming practice to refresh my drumming skills before buying a digital kit again, as I hadn't drummed for some time. I was very disappointed with the performance of the pads. Some hits don't register and if you hit two pads at the same time, only one sounds.A major problem was the pedals; they are tiny little half pedals and they don't stay in place. When trying to play properly, these just slid under my feet across the carpet. I tried a variety of methods to try and keep these slippery creatures in place, but the only surface they didn't slide on, was lino. Not much use if the only place I can play successfully is in a tiny kitchen! Another problem with the pedals was I would get two or more bass drum strikes out of just one push on the pedal. (it wasn't noticeable on the high-hat, though.) This completely messed up my drum rhythm. The layout was another bugbear. The pad in the centre is the high-hat and the pad to the bottom left is the snare drum. These are the wrong way round for a kit layout. It might sound minor - as I thought it would be - until you start playing as a drummer. My hands constantly swapped over to the proper playing position with crossed over arms. My right hand automatically played a high-hat pattern on the pad to the bottom left, but that was the snare drum pad and vice-versa; my left hand played a snare pattern on the middle pad, which was the high-hat. It was very confusing and I couldn't keep a rhythm going after a fill because of it.The percussion presets and built-in voices are ok and will be fun for kids. They are pretty much what to would expect from a low-end electronic drum kit (versus £600 electronic kits). It is good that you can programme your own kits and the sounds of these are good. There are several YouTube videos showing this set being played well, so it is possible. I think it might be fine for someone starting drumming from scratch that is not already used to the proper kit layout and only ever wants to play this without progressing to a full kit. It is definitely ideal for children learning to drum, but the small size might be a bit restrictive for a large adult wanting to play this. Check out YouTube videos to get a better idea.Lastly, a mention on the price. The full price for this is just not worth it. I only paid £104 for mine and was sorely disappointed by it. I sent mine back for a refund because of the issues I have raised rather than because of build quality.

All in all it seems a great drum kit
Bought for my 7 year old son who is thrilled with it...dad is too. All in all it seems a great drum kit.

Rubbish.
This drum set is horrible. It was bought for my Christmas present and it arrived a week late. The drum pads are very unresponsive and the snare and highhat are in the wrong position. And it needs six double a batteries to be portable. But I would carry a couple of spares as they run out in about half an hour. All in all a waste of money. It may be cheap but sometimes you have to spend a bit of money to get something worth anything.
