Perfect for the job.
Brilliant, having bought the chrome version for our bathroom, I thought I should give the white ones a go in the rest of the house. It seems all the downstairs radiator pipes come through the wall not up from the floor. (How I had not noticed?) These ones have done the bedroom ones perfectly. Paint only looks good on copper pipes for the first year and then a combination of heat and being bashed by feet and the vacuum cleaner takes it's toll. I can see no reason why these shouldn't last longer but even if they yellow with time, they are easy and cheap enough to replace. Now I need them to develop and elbow version for oddly shaped pipes. Just place them on the floor with a pair of scissors in your hand to cut the first bit to get the right size, then cut all the way round and slip them on. Turn so the join is at the back. (Do not use your best sewing scissors, I add this for the few men who might end up divorced if they do. And yes it says that in the pre-nup)

A quick and easy fix
I've used this product on several occasions and highly recommend it as a simple, quick way to smarten up old plumbing pipes. Make careful measurements before cutting and use a strong pair of scissors to ensure accuracy of fit. I'm going to look for some flexible angle sections as these are all straight pieces.

A cleaner look
I was doing up my parents old bedroom, both painting the room myself and buying the gloss look flooring. There is a radiator near the window and the young lad who was putting down the flooring happened to mention about the pipe collars. As i was searching for the collars i saw these pipe sleeves and i got them and the look of them on the radiator pipes makes the whole room look clean.. If like me you get some paint on the pipes these little sleeves will hide the paint. I've just ordered more of these sleeves for other rooms. Whoever thought of the idea of making these..FANTASTIC. i'd HIGHLY recommend these sleeves. A* A* A* A* A* A*

Something went wrong
Ordered two packs to refresh old ones which had lost their colour. Fairly easy to fit, just mind you don't catch your fingers!. They look good and have done the job well, however two of the covers distorted after one day which was a shame and a good job that from the two packs I still had spare ones to replace them. None of the others have done this so no idea what went wrong.

Instant improvement
The pipes emerging from the floor in my bathroom had had various attempts at being painted over the years, resulting in just a mess of patchy yellow gloss and copper. It took about 60 seconds to measure and cut these to length with a pair of kitchen scissors. Snapping them on is easy and job done. The sleeve itself is quite generous too, and would easily fit a slightly bigger pipe. Probably the easiest bit of DIY you’ll ever do.

It does the job
I have used different brands before and it was strong and lasted long time. This one is a bit flimsy and weak don’t know how long it will last but looks okay.

Simple solution
Easily cut with good scissors, simple to install for a total transformation of ugly copper pipes. Remember that these will only rotate in one direction depending which way you install it, loosen the natural coil to rotate join to the back of pipe. If using on floors with tiles, laminate etc. I would suggest to also use escutcheons.
