Essential Elements for Band - BB Tenor Saxophone Book 1 with Eei: B Flat Tenor Saxophone : Comprehensive Band Method

I found this book, along with the accompaniment CD, to be very informative and educational. I had never played a sax before, and when I bought a tenor sax I also purchased this book. By following the instructions and guides in this book I was able to play (basic) tunes within a day or so. I would recommend it to any beginner.One thing to look out for - there are two versions of the CD that accompanies this book. One version has tunes 1 to 59 in audio only. The other version, which I have, has the tunes 1 - 59 as audio and the other tunes, 59 - 187, as Mp3's which can be played on a computer or some DVD players.
