I was pleasantly surprised on how well this TENS unit performed, easy to operate. after using it for a couple of weeks. I can say it is as good as the professional ones that my physical Therapist uses. The battery lasted a decent amount of time before it needed to be charged. It would be nice to see the wires to be color coded and also it was supposed to come with a case- which was missing overall I would rate this a 9 out of a 10 Thank you A Very satisfied customer

I have chronic back pain and my wife suffered from pain on arm and chest after a ski accident. I ordered this device and hope it will help to reduce the pain and strengthen muscles. The item is well packed and comes with a manual, TENS EMS combo stimulator, electrode pads and charger. The manual is very informative, explaining TENS, EMS programs, showing where to put the electrode pads. There are 30 different TENS/EMS programs to choose from. I recommend going through the whole manual to get a basic idea of how to use the device. The manual is clear and easy to follow. It explains various TENS/EMS programs, what conditions these programs are for, where to put the electrode pads for each program. TENS programs are very effective to reduce the pain. Be careful to start with the lowest level and increase gradually until you get used to it. EMS programs are more intense to relax and stimulate muscles. The device is made in Taiwan with great quality. The simulator has 4 channels that can be applied to different areas with different programs and levels. It holds charge for a long time. The adhesive electrode pad is soft enough that it can contour and stick well. It is very easy to use. Put on the pads, turn on the device and choose the program and intensity and timing if needed. Increase the intensity slowly to the level which is comfortable and perceptible. Feeling the small electric current flowing is interesting. After using TENS, EMS programs for a while, it does reduce the pain without taking tylenol or ibuprofen. I also use it to relax and massage my muscles after a hard work day. All in all, the device is very powerful and effective to reduce local pain and strengthen the muscle. Of course, go through the manual, start out slowly and talk to your doctor or physical therapist if you have any concerns. If you need a non-invasive, drug free method of controlling pain, it is a great device to have.

Bought this a couple of months ago, but haven't really needed it till my leg crapped out on me again a few nights ago. Couple of annoying things off the top of my head. The charger is micro usb, instead of usb-c and this product didn't drop that long ago. I've had 3 phones prior to this units age that all had usb-c. Another thing is that the included charging cord is only 2 feet long. Not a huge thing, but you think they'd understand that ppl buying this device might have some mobility/reach issues and providing a longer charging cord wouldn't suck. The BIGGEST issue I have so far is that the intensity drops off when the screen light turns off. So, you'll set it to your preferred intensity and leave it, then 5 or so seconds later, the light on the screen turns off and the intensity more than halves. It goes back to more intense when you push a button relighting the screen. I haven't figured out yet if this is my own user error(but I don't really think it is) or a defective model, so if anyone at istim sees this, feel free to chime in, but I may have to return this thing

This is a very good tens machine compared to the cheap and nasty Chinese crap I used before. Even at 1/3-1/2 strength it’s so strong hahaha, I overdid it a bit on the day but it helped with my neck pain tremendously. I think it’s made in USA or Germany because it’s of great build quality. It has loads of programs and lots of pads. Oh, and a big build in rechargeable battery. 10/10 imo 😀
