SUPERB box set, absolutely BRILLIANT, all of it. All I will say, no rambling review, words alone could not do justice to the acting ,scripts and the way it was all filmed. If you do not enjoy the Pink Panther films,there is no hope for you! BUY THIS IMMEDIATELY!

You cant realy go wrong with Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau. It is such a shame that Return isn't included, but the rest are excellent. Sellers comic timing is unbeatable and his wonderful 'French' accent which even French characters can't understand is superb. His many, usually unsuitable, disguises are wonderful - I think my favourite is the old salty Swedish sea dog with the inflatable parrot. There are so many hilarious scenes it is hard to pick one as a favourite, there's the attempts to get into the castle, the chase through Hong Kong, the dentist with the melting nose, the Citroens in the swimming pool, all the attempts on Clouseau's life ..etc etc... With excellent suporting casts thes films are really worth adding to any collection. My only gripe is not with the films but the packaging - each disc has a different cartoon picture and labelled 'D1+D2+D3+D4+D5' with no indication of which film is on which disc, so care needs to be taken when putting them away.

My dad loves pink panther so he was very happy to receive this.

If you are feeling a bit down in the dumps and you need some big belly laughs , you know the ones where you can't breath and the tears are streaming from your eyes so that you look like you have a bad case of hayfever and allergy problems. Well let me just say one thing " Peter Sellers " and a huge dose of this fantastic Pink Panther DVD box set. It is the funniest of the funniest films ever made, especially the later ones, don't get me wrong the early ones are very funny but Mr Sellers really comes in to his own in the seventies panther films escepecially with his many disguises and the many mis-haps of his investigations as Inspector Clouseau...... LOVE THEM!!!!!! 5 ***** and more for this box set.

Utterly brilliant. As an example, >25 minutes into: 'A Shot in The Dark' there is a wonderful mute scene with Sellers,Graham Stark and Elke Sommer. Herbert Lom's facial tic is the beginning of his manic war against Sellers. It is slap-stick, but, who cares? The Pink Panther films would be wheeled out every public holiday, rather like 'The Great Escape' but not any more it seems. So grab this box set, because it will not fail to make you laugh. The only film not making this collection.is: 'The Return of the Pink Panther' with Christopher Plummer. But do not let that put you off.

Fantastic Comedy Boxset. The late Peter Sellers (sorely missed) at his comedic best as the bumbling French Inspector Clouseau. The physical slapstick humour with Burt Kwon as Kato is hilarious. Great support from the likes of Herbert Lom, David Niven etc. The only negative is that their is one missing title of the series: the Return of the Pink Panther. Otherwise Highly Recommended. 5 Stars!!

Ordered this collection. Disappointed to find only the cover for the film revenge of the pink panther and not the film itself not good

Coffret de nombreux disques à prix intéressant, et le nombre de disques pourrait faire penser qu'il s'agit d'un intégralle, mais non, malheureusement il manque le troisième film de la série, "Le retour de la Panthère rose" (c'est ça, vous avez les films 1,2,4,5,6,...). Mais bon, il semble qu'une telle intégrale nexiste pas, et c'est ce qui s'en rapproche le plus. Autre petit détail irritant, les 5 disques ne portent ni numéro, ni titre, donc mémorisez bien l'image imprimée sur le disque ou remettez les toujours dans le bon ordre, si vous ne voulez pas devoir insérer quelques disques dans la machine avant de trouver ce que vous cherchez. Mais après ça, qu'est-ce qu'on rit !
