Even quieter than the original
I hope this fan lasts and stays whisper quiet. My original fan was starting to squeak, so I replaced it a coupleofyearsago. It only lasted about two years and was a little loud from the very beginning. So far, I am very happy with THIS newest fan.

Works perfectly for me.
I read so many reviews before finally purchasing this product. Folks talked about loud noise from low settings to low noise on high settings. I guess you need to make sure everything aligns well during installation, otherwise, you might have air blowing in the wrong place, once the unit is turned on. Anyways, I never had those issues, for the price of an aftermarket product, it worked perfectly well. As compared to spending $500 plus, for an OEM, I am very happy. It took approximately 25 mins to install. 3 screews under the passenger seats is all it takes.

You get what you pay for
I ordered and installed this blower motor four and half months ago. In terms of fitment, it matches the OEM part perfectly. It took me only 20 minutes to remove the old motor and install this one. I noticed this motor weighs about a quarter of what the OEM motor weighs. Once installed, I noticed this motor was noisier than and did not blow as strong as the OEM motor. Given the price of this blower motor, I was ok with all the above.Earlier this week, the bearing on this blower motor became noisy, getting louder throughout the week. Now the motor only operates intermittently and sounds as if the bearing is about to seize when it does come on. I did not expect this motor to last long given the price, but I did expect it to last at least a year. I just ordered an OEM blower motor to replace this one.

Good for the price
I installed this blower motor 2 weeks ago and it is still working fine.Not quite as powerful as the factory Mercedes but what do you expect for $160 less.It came broken (plastic ear due to shipping)but it did not prevent me from installing it and it only took about 10 minutes.I would recommend this product and I would buy it again.Hopefully I don't have to LOL
