After owning a pair of Astro A50's Gen 3 for years they slowly started to slowly fall apart. Just 2 months ago the headband cushion peeled off. It wasn't until last week when the right ear cushion decided to come off that I needed to find a replacement.I looked at these because of the many options of fabric they offer as well as the claim that you don't have to take a side off to charge.I got them this morning and wow what a difference! I ordered the Breathable Cool Fabric and replaced the ear muffs and headband and they are comfortable! I wish I would have ordered these sooner as I think i prefer them over the original ear muffs.Do yourself a favor and get these as they are ready to be switched out in seconds instead of the ones where you have to clean off the residue and neatly adhere the cushion onto the magnetic plate.Mine also came with 2 different headbands which appear to be the black protein and the velour.Also no need to remove the ear pieces when charging! Well worth the purchase!

These do what there are supposed too! Very comfortable and make a good seal on the ear. My ears do get a little hot, but worth it for the benefits they provide

1 star off for price being a bit high for simple ear pads.

I've had this headset for a couple years now, so going back to nice thick ear pads is really nice.

These replacements ear cup are direct fit with the magnets so it literally takes a couple seconds to put on. They feel way more premium than the stock ones that came with the Astro A50

Finally found a actual gen3 mod kit. All the other kits are just pads with sticky pads to reuse the old magent clips.This kit is the actual magnet clips with the pads, headband, and even 2 mic foam covers. If your gen 3 pads came unglued from the magnets this is the kit you need.5 stars from me.
