Complete Book of Art Ideas: 1 Spiral-bound – 25 Sept. 2009

As a mother and art teacher, I sometimes find kids art books too easy, needing too much unobtainable stuff or too complex. This is none of those- it’s a great book with fab ideas. Suited to ages 5-11 I’d say. But older ones could do well with some activities too. A great investment.

Great book to flick through, even if you don't do any of the projects. It's lovely and thick so will keep kids happy for a good while looking through it. Lots of nice ideas yo try out too.

My 9yr old loves art but often struggles to think of ideas. He also struggles with some perfectionist issues so the projects and instructions are great for him. He's learnt skills and techniques and his confidence has improved. Love this bright, colourful book which has clear instructions in a child-friendly but not condescending or patronising instructions. I have enjoyed spending time doing some of the projects with him too. Only criticism - could do with more projects and less skills work but that's about it really.

This book is a treasure trove of simple and easy to follow projects. Brilliantly presented. Full of colour and quality. Something for everyone, any age,any ability. Fantastic. Wonderful source of information. Must have for anyone interested in art and learning different skills. Thank you. 👍

I bought this second hand. It’s in perfect condition. An excellent book with great ideas. Although it’s aimed at children it is just as useful for adults.

I think it is a beautiful book showing how art can be used with paint, charcoal, pencil etc. etc. I haven't given it to my granddaughter yet until her birthday in May but I am sure she will love it. She really is into art.

a book I always wanted! so many techniques, so many nice ideas both to work with the kid and by myself. drawing (crayons, different types of pains), making collages - all covered in nicely with deatailed photos.somehow ideas are even good for generating t-shirt print ideas (a project i am now working on)highly recommend!
