My only negative is that it doesn't come with a heat sink but you can pick these up quite cheaply and you will have to add it yourself (pretty easy to do, watch youtube vid) Overall, the Kingston NV2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD is a top-quality storage device that offers exceptional performance, reliability, and compatibility. It is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a high-performance storage solution for their computer, and it is well worth the investment. Cheapest on the market for gen 4 (at time of this review) I've been using this for 3 months with no issues.

Perfect budget NVMe drive for people looking for data storage on the cheap side of things. Great transfer speeds and gets the job done. No need to worry about temperatures as it does not get hot under load and I have had no issues.

When building a PC nowadays, you must have an SSD for your storage to ensure fast loading times. This SSD was the cheapest, at the time of purchase, and is lightning quick. This is especially true if you come from a standard hardrive. I would recommend.

I used this SSD as an external drive to my iMac M3. I recommend formatting as APFS not exFAT if your system drive is Mojave or later. When I first used the SSD, I formatted it as exFAT so that would be compatible with both my Microsoft Windows and Mac OS machines. However after several weeks some files I had saved were now corrupt i.e.no data in them. I reformatted the drive as APFS and have had no further problems for at least three months. Apart from this initial problem, I am happy with functioning of the drive.

Investigating why my PC startup was so slow, I discovered that the conventional hard drive was very slow. Installing this drive to replace the C drive was fantastic. I have 16GB of memory but the fragmentation of my C drive after 5 years was the cause of my problems. Once installed my PC became turbo charged and started up faster that it had even when new

Excellent Value for the Capacity and Speed. I have run and stored lots of things on this drive and works seemlessly. I've run a few Video Games on this drive and have loaded really fast into games. This Kingston NV2 NVMe SSD has been my OS SSD for almost a year now. This SSD is strong, reliable, decently fast, and worth every dime! I bought this SSD originally due to the price. It's substantially cheaper than other Gen 4 NVMe SSDs, which I initially thought would mean slower speeds, unreliable in the long run, or worse, dead after a bit of use. I was totally wrong. This SSD is a beast. For the price, you get a very strong storage option. For a single Terabyte (which is what I got), you get a gaming capable NVMe SSD, and an incredibly strong storage location for important files and even your operating system! You can also use the Kingston software to check the health of the SSD. And, I can confirm that, after almost a year of use, this SSD is at 100% health. That kind of performance is incredible! I play games on this SSD, store files, constantly transfer things on and off of it, and it's even the primary location for Windows to store it's data. Ultimately, the Kingston NV2 NVMe SSD, for being a Gen 4 SSD is perfect if you're on a bit of a budget. Even if you're not, this is still a phenomenal option! I'd recommend this thing to anyone, especially a first time PC builder, who may need cheaper SSD storage or an easy go-to option.
