Excellent replacements for the grey versions.Nice colours.Function like the originals, and keep wine fresh.In my opinion the wine is only fresh for 48 hours, not the 6 days they claim.Good value.Recommend.

A classic case of a great product being reinvented in an inferior guise. I have used Vacuvin wine stoppers for maybe 20 years, they are super-effective and useful, even white wine keeps fine for a week or two opened and most red wine actually improves as the bottle slowly goes down. This new format comes in colours (useful, I lost my old grey ones though they still worked fine) and apparently with a 'click' function to tell you it is sealed. If that worked it would be totally unnecessary as you soon learn that 3 or 4 pulls of the vacuum device does the trick when half empty and one or two more when nearly empty, and it's easy enough to check if you're unsure by removing the stopper again. Anyway I hear no click whatsoever on these fancy new ones so trial and error is still the way to find out how many times to pull. And the new shape doesn't make a secure closure until you do the vaccum, unlike the old ones which also worked as non-vacuum, stoppers. For this you pay double the old price, really fantastic profits on a small piece of rubber - but, they had a good idea and no competitors and it works!Delivery was very fast and accurate, too.

Works with old pump and performs better. Bought to replace the older (i.e., original) grey type with 2 flanges, which was part of a container for the vacuum storage of coffee.

Easy to use, bright colours and it saves your wine from turning to vinegar before you drink the whole bottle. What's not to like? You do need to have the pump as well, but as our stoppers seem to have grown legs and left the building, these were a welcome addition.

I have had a vacu vin pump and stoppers for years, and these new stoppers worked perfectly with the old pump. They fit the bottle perfectly and hold the vacuum well.My old set of stoppers (grey ones) lasted years (more than 10, I think): some were lost and the last one started to lose its flexibility - no doubt due to the many dishwasher cycles. I certainly got my moneysworth so I had no hesitation in going for the same brand again.

The original stoppers sold with Vacu-Vin were grey with three ribs. After a number of years they developed a tendency to lose the vacuum. As the replacements have only one rib I was unsure whether they'd hold the vaccum as well, but they've been fine, even on a bottle with a wider neck which the stopper only just sealed.
