Lights Out and keeps lookie Lou’s away!
It works very well. Kept the heat and sun out of our room. Awesome sun protection, easy to install, looks great and blackouts. I recommend when people do reviews like window privacy to both add indoor and out door pictures like several reviews did. Pictures are during peak time of the sun shining at the windows. The temperature outside is 98 degrees and humid.

No More light...Total Blackout now i can sleep. Easy to apply and stays on
Great stuff completely blacks out the light. Follow instructions and it is easy to apply and has stayed on multiple windows and not fallen or peeled off. Even on a window that gets direct heavy sunlight and heats up really high, it still stays on the window and even helps keep the heat out a bit.

FOUND SOLUTION! for cars, autos, vans, campers black out for mobile office etc
UPDATE :So static clang is never going to be good enough for these applications but it helps. It certainly helps to align. It certainly helps to install. It's just that they won't stay in place! So there's a very very simple solution and I mean that literally! Just take a little sugar water honey diluted in water or molasses of any kind. Also diluted in water by about half or more and you can either spray the window using a sprayer or you can apply it with a brush just in areas where it's actually peeling! This works because it's naturally super sticky as you know from handling these jars for years- and it's also easy to remove with just plain water or a wet towel when the time comes. So if you've got a peeling corner just dab it on. You can use a paper towel, dab it on it or dab it on the back of the shade. So other than being a little too narrow and a little too overpriced for The wider roll, this is actually pretty good stuff for direct application to the inside of Windows in cars, Vans, and any other kind of camper! About. The only other thing I can say is that it needs to be longer and I think I did get shorted four feet by the time I got to the end of the roll. You may want to start by The roll before you start cutting !I may have to return this even though it's cut into little pieces. It was I believe 4 ft short and I don't think it's going to last the month. As far as reusability goes for the purpose indicated. I'm going to give it another shot here. I'll try spraying the inside of the Windows in question with some soapy water to add some stick and if that does the trick then I'll be happy.

Great blackout film
Just bought 1 roll, quickly realized that 1 roll won't be enough for any window. This is a great film, I suggest using 2 pieces of tape to pry the liner off. Its challenging to even attempt without any tape. Other than very easy to apply. Have had no issues days after I put on my window. Just need another roll

Works great; I used black electric tape to secure it
Life-changing! I’m a vampire who works from home all night and sleeps during the day. I mostly dwell in the basement which serves as my study, tv room and bedroom. There are three small windows in the basement and I used this on all of them. The directions say to cut one inch larger than you need so you can wedge the film into the edges of the frame with a plastic card to secure the film better...but my windows have airtight frames so this ended up being more of a hassle when it came time to cut the excess film. Your windows may be different. I had a hard time getting a perfectly straight cut with a utility knife once the film was misted and placed. The knife also slipped a few times and scratched my window frames. User error. Maybe I should have used a straightedge of some kind. For me it was easier to just cut the film to the exact dimensions I needed and then place it. Also, a tip that may help you: I decided to tape the edges with black electric tape since I’m putting blinds over the windows anyway. It bonds securely to the film + frame and eliminates any leaking light along the edges due to imperfect cuts but also should help keep the film in place. Time will tell. It’s now pitch black in my basement and my body has no idea what time of day it is...which is great because the sun is my kryptonite and it renders me useless. In theory it should also be cooler in the summer now since the film is deflecting the sunlight. also no more glare on my TV. I should have done this ages ago.TLDR; great value for money. Give it a try.*Update: So the electric tape didn't hold as well as I had hoped. I reinforced it with black Gorilla Tape. I'll probably be cursing myself when/if it comes time to remove it...but it should do the trick for now.

Good product, but requires patience to install correctly
I bought this Velimax static cling window film looking for privacy and light control, and it fulfills those functions very well. The material is of good quality, completely blocks out light, and offers complete privacy.✅ What I liked:• Complete light blockage: Perfect for rooms where total darkness is needed.• Absolute privacy: No one can see through the window.• No adhesive: Leaves no residue and is easily removed.❌ What could be improved:• Complicated installation: It's not as easy to apply as it seems. It requires patience and precision to avoid bubbles and ensure a good adhesion.• Perfectly clean surface: Any dust particles affect adhesion.I would recommend this product to those who need privacy and darkness, but I suggest taking the time to install it properly for best results.

Cheap and functional. Highly recommended.
I’m honestly super impressed. It was really easy to apply—just a bit of measuring, cutting, and smoothing it on. No fancy tools needed, and it stuck perfectly without any bubbles once I got the hang of it.The difference it makes is amazing. It blocks out all the light, which has been a game-changer for sleeping in, especially on bright mornings. It also keeps the room cooler, which I didn’t expect but definitely appreciate. Plus, it adds a nice bit of privacy without having to mess with heavy curtains or blinds. If you’re looking for an easy, affordable way to darken a room and add some privacy, I’d totally recommend giving this blackout film a shot. It’s one of those simple upgrades that makes a big difference.
