I've used several small pen-style burners, but have been unhappy with them, as they were cheap & too hot for my hands. This burner heats rapidly and is easy to use. There is little to no heat to my hands. The holder mounted to the top works well & there is no danger of starting a fire. The base is heavy & does not move around my workbench. The tips are easily changed, and they burn very effectively.

I have always used the old kind of wood burner, so I wanted to try this. I have wood burned on wood for over 40 years. I got this, and I like it. You do have to keep the tips clean. I just have a fine piece of sandpaper to gently clean the tip every 5 or ten minutes. If you do not do this, it will not burn evenly for you. I loved how I can do more details with this. I had my 13 year old granddaughter try and she loved it and did not have any trouble with it.

Received quickly, easy to assemble, fast to heat up. But stopped burning after 5 minutes of use on medium heat setting. Returned.

I love this machine. It worked great right out of the box and was really easy to use. A few months after I bought it, a minor problem developed. I contacted the company via Amazon, and it responded within a couple of hours and they sent me a new part after verifying the purchase. I will definitely remain a customer.
