Tested and wow it works great.
Unit works great. Note if you test with the microphones close to the reciver the harmonics of 2 of the mics will light up 2 channels. Simple solution is to have the these 2 microphone's at least 10 ft away from the receiver. The quality of the microphones is fantastic. The receiver has rack mount ears. So you could build up 4 short jumpers and female to females to move the antennas to a better location on your rack if it is deep.

Works . . . but...
The microphone system arrived ahead of time, which allowed me to use it two times so far. Right out of the box, the 8 9 Volt batteries were not included despite a photo in the order info indicating they would be. All of the microphones turned on the first time I used them. The second time I set them up, one of the microphone's ON button would not stay on, and now must be held to allow that one to be used. The application I intended this for is Zoom meetings, adult CE, and bible studies for my church. The system was not recognized by Zoom or my computer when connected directly by the 3/4 inch cord through a patch 3/4 inch female to 1/8 inch male cord into the headphone/microphone jack. I was able to get the system to work as I intended by running the mixer through a Sonus Studio 24C preamp. I suspected I would need to when I purchased it. All in all, it is functioning as advertised, and as someone else said, one less than fully functional microphone was not worth returning the whole system. I have also purchased enough rechargeable 9 Volts to have one in the mics, and one ready to go when needed along with a 10 port charging base. Considering the current prices of batteries, this was worth the investment.**UPDATE** The one mic which would not stay on began working correctly yesterday after I had to hold the button down for an extended period to talk during an Adult CE class!

High hopes. What's the use if you can't hear anything?
My group and I had very high hopes for this product. I read the reviews, got excited, bought all the extra necessary items like extra rechargeable batteries, audio converter, etc.We do have some rooms with high tech conference equipments where we work, but sometimes those rooms are booked. We were trying to use a meeting room without the built-in system, and by having a portable system like this would have been a great idea.It arrived promptly and I assembled everything (easy to assemble, but the hardest part might have been taking the shrink wraps off the 9 volt batteries) and tried to have a few short test runs with colleagues from other parts of the world, some from the same building, and some in the same room, in preparation for a rather important meeting coming up in a couple of weeks. No sound. Tried on PC and Mac and tried to troubleshoot. We were a room full of scientists and engineers at a leading institution who are quite capable of figuring these types of things out and we had concluded that it was defective.Still believing that it could be a great system to have for our group. I contacted Amazon, returned the original shipment, and ordered a replacement. Process was hassle-free at no extra cost.Another big box with little parts and shrink-wrapped V9 batteries came. Another assembly, making a mess in my office. People walking by would poke their head in and ask, "are you trying to contact space aliens with those microphones? How many do you need?!"Microphones come with foam covers. Some of the microphones from the 2nd shipment worked, some didn't. Tried with the foam covers on. And tried with the foam covers off. Sound would come in and out, inconsistently. And mostly very faint, even with the volume all the way up. It has a pretty long range transmitter, so some of us walked around the building, talking into the microphones like crazy people saying, "hello! HELLO! CAN YOU HEAR ME?" And some stayed in the room with the rest of the microphones yelling back to the people they couldn't hear.Returned the 2nd shipment and for the last time, ordered another replacement.Another assembly... such a pain...2 of the 4 antennae in the back wouldn't stand up straight. Eventually they broke off when we tried to fix them. And once again, same problem -- can barely hear anything. With expensive sound system, cheap sound system, laptop speakers, earphones/headphones...Took them all apart, put them in the box, and sent the big box back to Amazon. If we had kept asking for a replacement, they might have kept sending it to us. But we were tired and gave up.

no replacement parts, no schematic, no service documentation
We bought 3 of these systems one microphone stopped working we have been told no parts and no replacement microphones available and no documentation (schematic)if you want a dead end system this is the one to get.Now on a positive note the receivers and the other 23 microphones we have work just fine.It is a shame that we can not recommend these systems because of no replacement parts and no service documentation. We will be looking for another system that has replacement parts and service documentation. We have 117,000 other locations that could use a system like this.

Dishonest customer service
Seven of the microphones worked fine. One Mic broadcasts on multiple channels at the same time which causes loud feedback and makes it unusable. In order to have enough sound the settings for every microphone have to be turned to max volume. I contacted customer service about the frequency, setting issue on the bad microphone. The Representative claimed that this could easily be fixed but that it takes many steps, so he would email me the instructions. I questioned his statement because the microphone units and the receiver unit are both sealed systems with no switches or adjustments other than a single on/off power switch. How can I make adjustments when there’s no way to access any components? He assured me there was a way to adjust the frequency without opening the unit so I let him know I work in the tech field and would like him to simply read me the steps rather than email them so we could see together. He would not do that. He said he already emailed me the instructions. I told him I am monitoring my emails now and I received nothing from him. He said it can take 24 hours to receive his email. It is now been three days and I have received no such email. If you purchase from this company and have any problems at all, send the product back and order a replacement. They clearly are not going to provide any real customer service until it starts impacting them financially.
