Good value cd beautiful voice love adele so relaxing

Bought as a present and got exactly what I ordered. Came nicely packed and padded.

Nothing to dislike only it took a bit longer to arrive that expected

Adele's 25 was perhaps one of the most anticipated albums of 2015. Listening to her on the radio, a couple of weeks before the release, it was actually quite refreshing to hear that she was very aware of creating a worthy collection, rather than just releasing mediocre songs to please others. She also described this album as a 'making-up' album, rather than a break-up album like its predecessor. Having now had the CD on repeat in my car since it was released, I can honestly say that, along with James Bay's CHAOS AND THE CALM, 25 is the best album I have bought this year.My personal favourites are "Hello", "Love in the Dark", "Water Under the Bridge", "Send My Love (to Your New Lover)" and "I Miss You" - this one in particular has quite a dark, edgier sound to it which I really like.As Adele suggests, you can certainly hear on 25 that this album is a more reflective album for her in regards to her childhood, her own regrets and friends that she feels she has lost for one reason or another. Some tracks also touch upon forgiveness - "Send My Love", for example states that she has 'forgiven it all, you've set me free.' Overall, 25 sounds like an album from an artist who is maturing and, to some extent, taking stock of where she finds herself at this stage in life.As you would expect from Adele, the vocals are spot on. She has an incredible voice - very soulful, managing to pack so much emotion into the words she sings.I would highly recommend this.

Well crafted album with some great tracks.

Wow... worth the wait!This is one of those albums that you love the more you play it.Track 2 - very different - catchy pop tune that i can see being a big chart hit. Can't get the tune out my head, reminds me of M.I.A paper planes.Track 9 - beautiful - think Dusty Springfield.Remedy track 5 & Love in the Dark track 8 make me shed a tear. Absolutely beautiful lyrics.Water under the bridge track 6 - love it, got kind an 80's vibe.River Lea - going back to her past, nice gospel sound.When we were young - stunning.Track 3 - I miss you - sexy and haunting, sounds very Florence and the Machine.The last 2 tracks 10 & 11 although lyrically outstanding, they will grow on me. Its only a personal taste, i like Adele's voice when its gritty, raw, lows & highs, her little twangs (like Amy Winehouse God bless her) saying that, they are beautiful tracks, just for me i liked 1 to 9 more.Some big production songs on this album.Whoever chose Hello as her debut song was genius (probably Adele), blows me away every time!I've followed Adele since in her 19 album. Its lovely for us fans to go on a journey with her. Thats what her albums feel like.She sings with such conviction & emotion.Stunning... thank you Adele x
