Great torch holster
This torch holster is lightweight, accommodates a normal trouser belt (35mm) and has two internal metal springs which secures your Surefire torch, even in the upside down position. This holster includes a small device which screws together to stop it from bouncing around on your belt. A great buy!

Very durable. Retains torch firmly but quick to release when needed
Had one years ago and foolishly gave it away. Best Surefire 6 P holder I ever had.

this is the second one I have purchased over some years. Used for work but the plastic piece the screw goes into snapped with some ease when tightening

The V70 is a very good holster with some issues you need to know about before buying
I have owned and used my V70 for a number of years now. When I was working as a paramedic the V70 was paired with a modified Surefire G2z carried tail end down. Whilst I carried my light tail end down it can, of course, also be used bezel down. When I first bought the V70 I had intended to use it with a Surefire 6P bezel down. However, I quickly discovered that the two sprung metal retaining strips inside the top of the V70 damaged the bezel’s anodizing. As the strips are easily removed I thought I’d try to bend them a bit to decrease the tension. Unfortunately, that idea didn’t work and I ended up snapping one of the springs. Trying some different Surefire lights in the V70 revealed that the tail end of the G2 when placed tail down in the V70 was a tight friction fit. It wasn’t so tight that you couldn’t easily remove the flashlight but definitely tight enough so that it wouldn’t drop out on it’s own. My V70 was in constant use for a number of years and was bashed and abused like most of my belt kit. Despite some minor scratches and abrasion marks it didn’t, and still hasn’t, failed me, fallen to bits or cracked. Whilst I would definitely buy another V70 it’s only right to point out that the plastic crossbar, which stops the V70 moving around on small width belts, is quite fragile and a user is very likely to strip the threads or crack the plastic if the adjustment screw is over tightened. If you want to place your Surefire light bezel down in the V70 then the metal spring strips will very quickly scratch and remove some of the bezel’s anodizing. If you aren’t worried by that problem then in all honesty the V70 is probably one of the best ways of carrying a Surefire flashlight on a duty belt.

Sweet little belt holster from Surefire, that holds a myriad of their tactical flashlights. Well built and very sturdy. As a test, I accidentally stepped on it, and absolutely no damage or even marks. Holds the flashlight very very securely, with a metal retainer clip. Amazingly, this leaves no marks on the flashlight. (How do they do that???). Fits a large tactical belt, but I don't use that stuff, so with the included belt adjustment insert, you can set the size to whatever your belt is. Would heartily recommend this to anyone with SUREFIRE flashlights. Beats any leather or web/fabric flashlight holder out there.
