I get married in a few months time and I bought this to help clear up my spot prone skin. I had read all of the reviews and they had been mixed. Some people really not happy with it saying that it was too big around the face and it did not produce enough steam. I think these people were expecting too much from a product like this, especially for the price you pay. I am very pleased with it. Its neat and easy to store, heats up quickly and produces exactly the amount of steam I would expect. There is a gap around the face because if your face sat flush with the sides the steam would build up and you would probably get burnt! The gap needs to be there.If your looking for something cheap and effective to help clear up your skin I would recommend buying this product.

Not bad for the price and does the basic job I needed it for which was with the nasal inhaler for a bad coldIt is simple and easy to use and generates enough steam to inhale with eg Olbas Oil or Vicks in it which works a treat , it even gets so hot ( the steam ) that if you put your nose too close it feels like it's burning so I had my nose a little bit away and was still able to breathe plenty of steam inI was hoping if left it would steam the room and infuse it with menthol vapours but it was not powerful enough to do this and I probably won't use it as a facial steamer but keep it for when I have a cough or cold and keep the Vicks to hand as I had run out so bought some comfrey and eucalyptus oil which did nothing as well as some eucalyptus salts which did nothing as well but a blob of Vicks in the water worked an absolute treat and I will try Olbas oil next timeNeeds cleaning out afterwards as leaves a deposit if you use oils etc in it but as a BASIC steamer it works ok and for what I needed it for I should not have been expecting the room to end up like a sauna! ;-)

Takes a while to heat up but once it does it works brilliantly.The face bowl is very large and I don't think my head is smaller than normal!I drape a towel over my head when I use this now to trap in more steam and actually get some use out of it.That being said I liked that the instructions were easy to read (not that you need them anyway to put two parts together) and that it came with a handy little measuring jug to transfer water into the hot plate.Other than that it does work very well, was packaged nicely and delivered well within the time limit.

Good for price. The drawbacks include not having a timer or a temperature gauge to tell you how hot the water is. I bought this to steam my face and it does work well.

Don’t buy this product, you’ll be massively disappointed, dissatisfied & guaranteed it will never. You’ll be flushing your finance away for an inferior product. Be warned.

There are way more expensive steamers than this on amazon, but for the money you can't go wrong with this one.Some have mentioned the size of the attachments as being a bit on the large size, but as a man with a big face it works well for me. Water reservoir seems good for 15-20min flow of steam (shouldn't really use it for longer than that anyway).

Easy to use and handle.It fits perfectly for kids face as well.Light weight and good qualityso far no problems occurred.

I wasn't supposed to recieve this until Tuesday. . I came home from work 2 days after ordering it and it's on my kitchen side ! I used to have one of these when I was younger and loved it.. It used to keep my skin clear.. I've been suffering with bad skin lately so wanted to use it again.. can't wait to try it out !
