Sweed Eyelash Growth Serum 3ml Blue

I got recommended this by a makeup artist friend and always sceptical however I couldn't believe the results!I've always had long lashes but felt they weren't as luscious as they once were when I was younger. My images is both wearing mascara but 3 months apart. They are defiantly longer !

I bought this because I wanted a prostoglandin-free serum, and I read about this serum in Sali Hughe's column in The Guardian. I was skeptical at first because I saw no difference, but I've now been using it for bang on four weeks and I can clearly see that my lashes are longer - I'm really delighted with the results! I did find that the skin around my eyes was a little drier at first when I started using this, but I've added a thicker moisturiser into my routine and that has sorted that issue. I'll definitely repurchase this.

I bought this serum as an alternative to Revitalash, which sadly gave me quite bad orbital fat loss (read up about prostaglandins). The product definitely works - I’ve noticed new lash growth straight away. However, after using it for 2 weeks, I began to notice some itchy dry patches on my eyelid. Today both of my eyelids are red and swollen. I have to throw the serum away which is painful given how little use I got out of it and the cost! Very disappointing. Make sure to do a patch test before trying it on your eyes.

I hate when eyelash serums aren’t clear about whether it needs to be applied on the lid at the base of the lashes or on the eyelash hair itself. Sweed also suggest you go from the outer to inner corner, which isn’t easy to do at all unless you’re a makeup artist used to such contortionism.I got this one as it’s not meant to be irritating and doesn’t have proglastagins in it. It stings like crazy if you get any in your eye so I’ve had to apply it to my eyelid instead of lashes, and just ignore the instructions. A simple picture or video would help! But also worrying it stings so much, I have to wash my eye out if it accidentally drips in.

Visibly longer lashes in less than a week!

I am going back to another brand of eyelash serum which definitely worked - this does not. I have applied as directed every night for weeks and I can detect no difference in length, strength or thickness of my lashes. A waste of my money, sadly.
