This is durable and great. I love the size of the sphere mold.

My only complaint is that the chrome finish should be on the -inside- of the mold. I didn't have any problems removing my casting, but because the smooth finish is on the outside of the mold, all of the castings that come out have to be prepped then polished (adding more time to market, labor, etc...) The Ateco "pyramid molds" have the chrome finish on the inside, which makes for a mirror finish on castings and an easier release.

Perfect Dome Shape. This is a well made mold. The inside is polished to a smooth finish. Do make sure to use a release agent. I have been using WD40 and sometimes Olive Oil.

Finish was not "mirror;" but it was a decent polished finish. The biggest issue is that they are absolutely not "Hemispherical-" as they are described- more like a flattened dome. The dimensions are close, both pieces I received were approximately 3/32 of an inch larger than the description in both height and diameter.

Very good item. Now when I serve Rice to my customers, the value of the meal is increased.Now my rice has a realynt aspect when I serve plates to a customer.

Well made spheres. I purchased to make large bath bombs. They make extremely large bath bombs! Too large for me so I plan to use them to make chocolate shells for desert dishes. I think they'll make very nice rice presentations as well. Who knows, I may get into some fancy cooking!

These molders were really suitable to make bath bombs! Since they aren't transparent, sometimes it was hard to check if ingredients stick to it. But it doesn't really matter if you leave it for a long time to dry. You can make very beautiful shape of bath bombs!
